My Bad Apostate Ass Scared Them Off!

this morning - a wonderful sunny spring day - grandmunchkin #3, wifey and i went 'garage sailing'.

we encountered a nice little sale, that happened to be at the house of someone we have come to know from an uptown art business in our little town.. as we snooped, and shared a little polite conversation with the owner, lo and behold - up walk two of my former good friends - marsha and sally, both dyed-in-the-wool witnesses.

marsha is partly my fault - i started the bible study with her husband that ended them up as the religious fanatics they have become.

WHOO HOO! I try to get in as much apostate anti-witnessing time as I ever did witnessing. Good for you!

snubbed by the dubs...

as most of ya'll know, i'm not dfd or dad, just faded and i've commented about how i still have some contact with some jws that i used to associate with.

only on rare occassions do jws that i didn't know that well to begin with treat me as persona non grata...no big deal, i usually couldn't remember their names to begin with so it wasn't like i was being shunned by family or friends.. this story begins at the mall, where i was with my wife (*sbm), not my favorite place to be...but the sacrifices we have to make sometimes...you married guys know.... anyhoo, we're in a common area near the food court, deciding if we wanted to get a snack or just hold out for real food in a real restaurant somewhere else, when a "sister" we've known for years spots my wife and comes up.

we've known this person for over 20 years...we go way back.

Can't ya just FEEL the love? Your story made me feel all warm and snuggly inside.

I know there are those that feel like their hearts are ripped out when they come in contact with someone they can't treat like a human being. I pity the brain-washed because that's how I felt.

What makes me want to vomit is the self-righteous, holier-than-thous that actually get off on sticking their smug little noses in the air and looking at you like you are dirt. Truly sickening.

Apostate CO?

what would you think if a co said the following things from the platform?

during a talk entitled the spirit and the bride keep on saying "come" he goes off at a tangent talking about how from 1920 to 1925 we said "millions now living will never die".

he went into great detail about how at first the title was "may" but was changed to"will".

I don't think that's an obscure point at all and I didn't join the cult until late 1979. It is, however, very odd that he would even mention it, let alone go on and on about it. He just very well may be trying to get an apostate point across. That is how I'd take it.

most of you know,i live in the wilderness..i am my own doctor..i smashed my knee-cap,and it frigg`n hurts..it will heal,but i will suffer till it does.........what was your worst injury and how did you get through it?.............for me it`s rum and pain killers right now..not too much of either,or i won`t be able to survive in the wilderness.............................................outlaw.

Elder says that there're apostates who are organized in Spain

an elder said that there are apostates organized in spain to make the sale of the spanish branch money go to the congregations that provided the funds.

he has photos of the place from an email and had heard this from a circuit overseer who just visited there.

has anyone heard confirmation of this?.

told wife i would take blood, have not carried card for two years....

went over the whole blood fractions/ham sandwich thingy.....said duh.....do they get it after it is in the dirt first?!?

!.....and why can we take fractions but cant give blood?!?

!......somewhere she said "god reveals truth gradually"....i said the "principles" were all not to eat blood and just poor it on the ground....so simple yet they become "principles" that gb change after causing death of many.....and if using blood to make fractions and save your life......then i want blood since life is damm sacred!!

When I found out I was in a cult I was still married. I was afraid that my husband would not allow a transfusion if I was unconscious so I took a black sharpie and wrote "I no longer believe it is wrong and I WILL ACCEPT A BLOOD TRANSFUSION" on my blood card. I then dated it and had my mom and daughter sign as witnesses.

I figured if I just threw it away it could be claimed that it was "misplaced" and I wanted it known in no uncertain terms that I would absolutely agree to the transfusion if I was conscious.
