Has anyone seen the 4/15/2010 Watchtower with their own eyes?
by HappyGuy ini haven't followed the generation change in the doctrine that closely, just read a few snippets of the overlapping generations doctrine.
i find this hard to believe even for the pathological liars the governing body.. has anyone seen the 4/15/2010 watchtower with their own eyes?.
can anyone validate that the wtbts really is saying this overlapping generation idea the way it is being quoted on the internet in a few places?

Before I washed the dishes this morning................!
by iknowall558 inbefore i washed the dishes this morning.............. .
i noticed a couple of well dressed men in dark suits passing by my window.
i jumped up to have a closer look and saw a whole hoard of witnesses in the street knocking on my neighbours doors.

JWs don't leave the organization over doctrine
by doublelife incan anyone help me with a quote from a publication studied in '09 that had a box that said jws leave over selfish reasons but not over doctrine?
i think it was studied in the bs but i can't find it and i already tried the search feature.
i remember someone posted about it at the time it was studied.

You should be proud of yourself for telling your children the truth. They will adjust and understand that you have always done what you believed was the right thing. I hate it that I missed out on celebrations with my babies as well.

My children were relieved and thrilled when I said, "I don't believe it anymore." We were already very close but we are even more so now. I have had people tell me that they have never seen a family as close as ours.
The magic from their childhood had more to do with YOU being their mother than them being associated with the congregation. Trust that magic closeness that only you can have with your babies.
W E L C O M E ...you will find love, comfort and support here.

Does Anyone Know of This Saying?
by snowbird in"you've met your daddy dead drunk!"?.
my g'ma used to say that with such relish when any of us got into trouble.. however, i don't recall who was dead drunk - daddy or junior.. whichever way it went, though, someone was in deep trouble.. i've googled the keywords, african-american sayings and proverbs, but nothing.. anyway, when russell and rutherford teamed up, it seems both had met their daddies dead drunk!.
wt has also met its daddy dead drunk in the form of the internet!.

Lenny and I don't eat a lot of meat. He introduced me to a health salad that we eat almost every day and never get tired of. Nutritious and delicious. I am trying to lose weight and I am eating this salad one to two times a day and a lot of fruit as well.
Basically the vegies are shredded. This is what it has in it: cabbage, sweet onion, fuji apple, yellow squash, zuccini, carrot and beet. It is delicious with any dressing but I make my own, the recipe can be found on the back of Bragg's apple cider vinegar, and probably on the net. I thought I hated squash, zuccini and beets until I tried this salad. It lasts 3 days and costs about 4-5 bucks a batch.

I Am Not Kool-Aid Man. Also in this issue: I Am Not Affiliated With Kool-Aid Man.
by sd-7 inthere has been some confusion over some of my recent posts, posts in which i appeared to be a "jw apologist", defending jw beliefs/scandals/etc.
this was merely an act, not intended to cause needless difficulty.
i apologize if kool-aid man--the real one--or anyone else got offended by it.

Zeitgeist - anyone for a discussion?
by Shawn10538 ini am starting a sort of campaign to get this movie distributed and have as many people as possible get exposed to it.
the documentary is in 3 parts.
part one deals with the pagan mythological origins of bible myths, part 2 is about 9/11 and supports the theory that the towers were demolitioned and part 3 deals with the federal reserve agressive take over in the 1920s by international bankers.
