One more thing. You need to ask questions regarding your faith, real questions. Regarding the other thread of yours, if wether or not anal and oral are your main requirements for acheiving eternal life.....wrong path mack.

by BEROEAN injust wondering if ex-jws find it hard to trust others since their bad experience or are they still gullble souls?

Memorial Partaker totals for 72 years by request!
by Atlantis inquestion from researcher: the other day you posted the australian peak publishers and i was wondering if it would be possible to post the numbers of the "memorial partakers" from 1935 to 2006. that would be about 72 years of totals.. my answer: yes, we can do that for you but it will take a few hours to get everything together and scanned.
i will have to use different forms of wt literature to accomplish this.. unless indicated otherwise, numbers listed show partakers for previous year and some could show: "still incomplete" but they are still listed as a total nevertheless.
cheers!

In all fairness, I got out in the 80's, so maby they are ''cooler'' now. Reading what people say on here does not sound to me like things have changed. We moved to GA when I was nine from NY. Even at that age you could tell a differance coming here. Many rural, raised baptist's in charge. Very strict. I am sure some parts of the world are almost like a diff religion due to the culture. I will say this though, no matter where you live, being shunned by your family is a mighty strong tactic. BTW, all of me are totaly nuts!

Blonde, Brunette, Redhead? Do you have a favorite?
by Paralipomenon inthis is a fun question that i like to pose in social settings.
regardless of who your significant other is, i've found that people have a definite preference for hair color.
what i found even more interesting is that people usually preferred a hair color different than their own.

Is it appropriate for a stranger to comment on a woman's bruises?
by rebel8 inif you saw a woman in public, and said woman was a complete stranger to you, would you feel it's appropriate to discuss it with her (if you're concerned she is in an abusive relationship)?
if you did, would it be appropriate to do it within earshot of others?
and if she offered you an explanation other than abuse, how would you proceed?

my ex worked on it for almost 4 hours and the darn thing still crashes saying my "virtual" memory is too low.

WhoAreYou is right fix the box first. Getting rid of that frustration will help a lot! DELL should be able to help with recovery cd's. As long as you have the sticker on the box you can verify the XP certificate #.

Paris Hilton sent back to jail
by free2beme inthey sent paris hilton back to jail.
as i have expressed on here many time, paris hilton is my least favorite of the hollywood people.
so, seeing her escorted from the court to the police car like a common criminal, while she yelled for her mother, ...... .

How I love realist's!
For Lords sakes why not just leave the mutt in peace?
In some ways I am sensing in the moral outrage and public blood-letting that is going on, overtones of the ridiculous global hysteria that prevailed when Princess Diana died . Everybody who had ever lost someone close to them in death transferred their grief, past and present, into this one public personna and wept like babies with itchy nappies.
Here we have a spoiled, semi-educated little rich girl, with a sort of manufactured beauty, whom everybody hates because they are jealous of her and would sell themselves like $5.00 hookers to have what she has if given a chance. The public outrage visited on her for acting like the dumb-ass she obviously is, seems affected and manufactured in the face of pure green envy.
Don't you think all this a bridge too far?
Switch off your TV's and mow the lawn.

Welcome! You raise a point that makes me very unhappy -- the knowledge that there are ex-JW's out there that simply don't know JWD exists. Or any ex-JW board, for that matter. My heart hurts thinking about how much help they could receive here, if they only knew about it.
Glad you popped by!
Dave
+1 Welcome Dawn, new myself. They seem to be good group, have some fun figuring out the abbreviations! It took me day's to figure out TMS, JC ect lol!

Macallum(sp) is some nice stuff. I do beleive Jack is the best"cheap" whiskey. Cigar's are even more subjective than the drink. I like a cheap ol swisher sweet, the little tampa's are not bad either. The better an cigar get's the stonger it is imo. I don't like that, hard to get past the bitter for me. Now a cherry flavored tobacco in a pipe with a nice smooth whiskey is right up my alley!
