I understand how hard it can be to make this important decision but like you said if something did happen you would feel guilty. That is why jehovah warns us in the bible not to engaged in worldy activities one reason out of many our lives are unreplaceable, there is nothing more important then that,because if the worst did happen who can bring your child back to life.jehovah can but not at this time.Our lives can be gone in one second. Not to sound scary but im just being realistic.However, since your child has a love for horses she should still be invovled with them by nuturing or once in a while riding around in a circle, just for fun but not for racing. just my thoughts, take care.

If you truly love jehovah and want to please him you would not put your child in a danderous situation,because there are serious consequences,Jehovah has said in his own words he does not approve when you live a risky life.Jeohevah loves us and knows whats best for us we trust in him since he was the one who created us.Our main reason we are all here is to serve him and we will be greatly rewarded in heaven.Listen to the scriptures it is the manual of life.

June 12th is tomorrow, are you ready for armageddon?

i think i'll sleep late just in case... an elder called my friends house and said that armageddon was almost certain to come this year; an urban myth stated that it would be tomorrow.
i guess i'll wait to make that car payment.

yes the governments will say finally peace and security and then the end will come so we know that has'nt happen yet so there will be some things that are yet to happen before armageddon.

No one knows on which day jehovah is coming In the bible it says to keep awake because you do not know on which day your lord is coming nor the angels, nor the son knows, only the farther knows.He would come in like a thief in the night unexpected.In revelation there are still some things to happen before Armageddon. So we know this much its near but everything that has been wriiten some has not happen yet so there still is some time but we dont know how much time.But have no dought in your minds this day will certainly come for jehovah himself has said he will keep his word like he says and no one will be able to stop him. The governments will try to escape into the mountains but jehovahs power is endless he created us not we created him.

For those who've settled on 'no contact' with their JW families . . .

do you question it sometimes and think you should try to "reach out" to them again?
i was this morning and then came across the thread above and was reminded why i need to stay away.. but, still, i read threads of people who have managed somehow, despite being d'f'ed or faded or d'aed and think i might try to be more understanding, supportive, reach out or something.. despite all the problems growing up in a fairly dysfunctional family, i still feel a deep attachment to them and hope against hope that they might come to their senses (if they ever had any to begin with) and get help and leave the cult of jehobo; and we might reconcile,etc., etc., blah blah blah dream dream dream.. i deeply wish for them all freedom and happiness and healing and feel so helpless to free them of their bonds and yet see so much possibility for it, if only they could be reached somehow.

I feel everyone is responsible for themselves as individuals so no matter what religion we are we can fall short simply because we are imperfect which is why we must fight to be faithful.We should not be discourage because our family disowned us they might refuse to see what we see and learn the truth but as witnesses we have an obligation to put our loving farther first in our lives because he created all things and because of his will we exsist so he has the wright to decide whats best for us whether we think it is wrong in jehovahs eyes he knows what we want more than we know since he himself designed us, who could know better than him?

You should always stay close to your family if you are a christian or not.What ever you think you know about them you never really know unless you yourself enter the kingdom Hall and find out what they teach.There is much to learn there and your experience will be a pleasant one from every single person they all will greet you in gladness that you were not afraid to find out the truth. So many people hate them and they have been so helpful to me my entire life. If it was not for them i would've had a hard time dealing with the death of my sons farther and because of them alot of things make sense and so much love is invovled, they learn this, by knowing him, how he feels about things , what hurts him and what displeases him jehovah and his endless love that he has for the good and the bad.Jehovah qualities are love is his dymanite quailty, justice, wisdom, and power all of which he posses to great extent.Lets not judge until we can see the whole picture

since its been over 30 years since 1975, how do they predict armegeddon now?
what do they tell new converts regarding the 1975 debacle?

Alot of things will happan in the last days. Most people are concern about the enviroment and the economy as they should be.The end will come on an ordinary day where we will be doing as the usaully., and it will happen suddenly, like the bible says a thief in the night comes when you least exspect, so it is vidal that we find the truth and turn to jehovah for guidance because we do not know on which day he is coming only he knows not even the angels in heaven know when he will come.We should try our upmost to be on guard and be prepared so we will not fear the end.

If we are easily distracted by colors and things like clothing and jewlery then we can easily fall away from what we are learning in the kingdom hall.Each person that speaks in the kingdom Hall is blessed by jehovah so his words are also from jehovah.Jehovah guides the wise man to teach us the truth as did jesus so as we pay close attention to his words we no distraction at all.
