notice: i think these are questions for christians.... okay, dub's have big plans for the future: preaching, armageddon, paradise on earth, perfect people.... does anyone here believe that whatever is right now, is exactly the way god wants it?

and if jesus is going to come in the future and solve all of our problems with peace on earth, what was the point of him coming the first time?

i have heard this comment from a few jw's in the past, "i became a jehovah's witness because you'll never find anything better.

let's propose that (for a second :)) they are the closest thing to the "true religion".

didn't the bible say something like don't listen to any false profits not "find the false profit that is the closest to the truth and follow him/her"?

Annoying Phone People

i was at work one day waiting on customer.

i work at a drive up expresso stand and usually i'm the only one in there, so if the phone rings i have to answer it myself (no matter if i'm trying to hand somebody their change, make a drink, or just sitting there).

i was making these people their drinks (two double shot 20oz iced almond joy breves) and the phone rings.

reasons why the english language is hard to learn:.

What the New Testament was Really Saying

i have heard many people say how confused the bible (specifically the new testament) makes them.

it seems as if the writers jump to different subject that make no sense.

for me it has been very helpful to read the scriptures with love being the purpose of everything they say.
