  i'm just curious with all the happy clapping that is now going on with the singing at the conventions.

  what has been the reaction to it with the r&f.

  has anyone ever commented that it reminded them of a pentecostal revival meeting.

  Grooming as a Witness

  growing up as a teenager, i would occasionally get some counseling for having my hair a bit too long by a couple of elders in the congregation.

  one time i cut my hair shorter than usual and one elder said i was cutting it too short!

  so it made me feel like anything i did wouldn't satisfy them.

  This is their MO. Its never good enough. They are always Neg. keeps the rank and file on edge thinking they are not good enough and need to keep working on being closer to the cult way. I remember an idiot of an elder Dick Schroeder who was not only dumb you could never get an atta boy from him. It was always you need to do this. So glad I left years ago. I wish I had never been in. I blame my parents and grandparents. They could see the lies as easy as I did.

  My mums dying she refuses blood transfusion...the horror.

  mum has a mild form of lukeimia if she took blood like normal people she could live to be 100. but no, anointed sisters dont compromise jehovah wont allow it.

  so here i am moving to sydney for one month going to hospital everyday putting my life on hold to watch my mother die slowly.

  watching her gasp for air, struggle to breath.

  I went Elder Hunting yesterday!

  win my first post i introduced you to tweedle dee and tweedle dum, ( surprise elders visit ).

  well last sunday night i got phone call from t- dum, he informed me that t-dee was listening in, no doubt practicing his short hand.

  t-dum went on to say how he was concerned that we were making the biggest mistake of our lives, yada yada.

  I had a similar experience in that I had told an elder who I had grown up with that I felt the org was a cult and a lot like Scientology. He ran to daddy who is big man elder and wanted to meet with me with a couple of elders. I refused the offer. Later he showed up with a second elder and I said I know why your here, you want me to shit or get off the pot. He said well not in those words but yes. To which I replied its your job you do it. I am not giving you the rope to hang me. He said if you don't want to be a dubber why resist. I said because it pisses you off.

  the current russia ban on jw's accusing them of extremism got me thinking.

  at first, i disagreed, only because i am used to our constitutional rights here in the u.s. and feel that individuals should be able to practice whatever religion they prefer, even if i disagree with the teachings.

  however, i started thinking of the ways that jw's are in fact extremists and perhaps should be banned.

  Ran into my brother at a concert; first time I've seen him in years......

  my wife and i went to a concert on friday night.

  there was a friend of ours there doing security, and she happens to be an exjw too.

  she sent me a message on messenger to inform me that my brother and his wife were at the show, not knowing that i'd be there too.

  I was shunned not because of being DFed but because of being marked. My old partner Daryl Kunde had a brother that was DFed back in the mid 70s. He has not talked to him on a social level since. What a waste of time to shun family who only want to live their life for a cult that has fucking never been right in their life.

  "No junk mail". How witnesses ignore these signs!

  as we know, many people have "no junk mail" signs on their home letterboxes.

  this clearly means that they do not want unsolicited mail or advertising material.. so how are witnesses getting around this?.

  during the campaign to distribute the convention invitations, when they come across a house with "no junk mail", they are just putting the leaflet inside an envelope and hand writing "to the householder" on the front and putting it in the letterbox!.

  the treatment plan for seels-davila called for recycling her own blood back into her system.. yet that proved to be inadequate when complications of her delivery required seels-davila to deliver by cesarean section.
