Do not enjoy life now!

ok so i was stupid and looked at the text for today, i do not know why i did it.

i lost a couple of brain cells and put myself into an even deeper depression over it.

it was just that my husband had it out and i thought what can it hurt, wondering what they are up to.

I can remember eating lunch with an elder in North Michigan from Brutice cong. He would tell us at lunch brake that this is not a real life. The real life [more hova speak bull shit] was to come. I have a lot of family who are now living like paupers because they never prepared for this world. Fuck these assholes.

Have not had a visit in over a year

I now live in a populated area where there is a hall about half a mile away. When I moved here I was getting stops by JWs a couple times a month. The thing is I was told by my Grandfather now passed on when I lived in my home town that after I left I did not realize what a can of worms I opened up when I was approached by an elder and I told him I felt the org was a cult. I had been out for a few years and told this elder I had known for many years that I had been reading Franz and other history's of the cult and wanted nothing to do with it. This elder called me about two days later and wanted to show up to my home again with a fellow elder who was about as control freak as one can get. I replied nope not interested. I knew what he was after, to get me to repete what I had told him a few days before and then they could DF me. My Grandfather who was an elder at the time told me I did not get what a buzz I had created among the members of the org. I was out so did not really pay attention.I told this story to apply to now living in Fla and getting a visit about twice a month. About a year and a half ago I got visit from a member of the cult where I used to live. I pointed out I knew who he was and who I was. He was visibly uncomfortable. He left and since that time I have not had one visit.

I would bet I am labeled an apostate and directed to stay away from my door. I did not understand how much they were afraid of apostates. LMAO. Anyone else have this situation?

I was there also. I could not remember anyone saying it is coming but it sure was implied if it was not. I lived in North Michigan at the time and many people sold homes and quit jobs and moved up north with just enough money to live to about spring winter of 76. Many who had good jobs at GM or Ford now were hanging drywall and other jobs trying to regroup.

Should I stay married to my JW wife

me and my wife were at the beach the other day and i finally told her, i don't think i believe in god anymore.

i fessed up to the fact that it started with me doubting some jw beliefs and then it just led me to this point where i don't even believe in god.

i wouldn't say that i even have a negative view towards jw's or religion in general.

Demon possesion, bunch of crap or?

i've been using the forum to vent and post a lot more frequently lately as a venting purpose & way to obtain peace of mind with the craziness i've been going through recently as i fade away form the org.

anyways today i'm sitting here at work and thinking to myself about demons... ok i know this sounds crazy but has anyone else out there been traumatized by the thought of demons?

i had a dream the other night, just flat out spooky and i woke and couldn't help but feeling it may have been evil ole' satan and his demons at it again.. i don't want to believe that, (trying not to, & just brushing it under the rug so to speak) but have any of you out there been talked up about demons?

Its always you hear about someone who knew someone that had a table float or some such bull shit. As a kid my parents would sit around the table and tell stories, always about someone they knew that knew someone that had some experience. I have a couple of cousins that swear they had demon problems, but the one woman tried in later years to kill her kids in an oven, she was mentally off. Her father swore to me he was helping to rid a home of demon problems and found a box of dishes that had crosses on them. I found a Catholic cross at a marina broken and fixed it and still have it and never had a problem. LMAO. He said it was not enough he took the dishes to a land fill, he was one of those over the top gung ho asshat elders. He had to break every dish. He told me that some dust from the dishes got into his gloves and on the ride home the gloves tried to strangle him. Mental illness runs in that family. Its a load of BS, but can I prove that? No, but I have never ever seen anything that could not be explained by some other more reasonable explanation.

Why it's a waste of time talking to JW's

i believe it to be a waste of time talking to, reasoning with, jw's if you expect any kind of quick result.. many of us when we first wake up think that 'coz ttatt is blindingly obvious to us, it will soon get through to our jw loved ones.. this simply isn't so for a couple of important reasons.

the first is that, if someone believes something is true, or the truth, to them it really is, without doubt, true.

so whatever you say must be wrong somehow.. the second problem is that jw's simply do not have to use, or pay any attention to facts and logic.

I used to talk to them when they come to the door. You can be spot on your argument, know the 607 argument down to the last period and they will never ever listen. Your wasting your time. They will leave and say the demons have hold of you and you just lost time you will never get back. I decided those bastards took enough of my time and life and those fuckers will not get more.
