and honest people can reach ! I applaud you both ! I think Wings that you have proved
what a big (in the emotionally mature sense ) women you are. My respect for you just doubled !

it certainly is a diverse board we have here , isn't it ?
we all come from different backgrounds, walks of life, and had different experiences in growing up as children into adolescence.
so it should suffice to say, that we will all have a variety of takes on various issues that come up on the board.
I think you can be both supportive and urge someone to see a professional. One does not cancel out the other .... Changeling

i think it's only appropriate to put out a thread to thank simon for the great job he does in moderating this board, watching over discussions to make sure that the purpose of jwd discussion stays focused .
i believe that he and the mods do a great job in helping this board along in it's journey - and enables us to have the freedom of speech- without having fear of reprisal - as long as the guidelines are met.
so, i for one would like to personally thank you simon - for bringing this board into existence, as it has helped many to be able to vent after leaving the jehovah's witnesses cult, and get support, and for others it has helped them have a great place to discuss many important topics that have a heavy play in many of our lives !

You know another thing I like is when the moderators chime in on the topic's . It lets you know they are there and watching

I post it simply because I have done lot of reading about them.. my mother-in- law talks about seeming them.
It all happened in 1934 the Depression years, they almost single handedly brought Ontario ahead (tourism, roads etc .)
Also because I am an identical twin , I can relate to not having your own image, it's the twins ! Our house in a very small
rural area drew people for miles around.to see us. It's one of the reasons why today I try to blend into the crowd.. you're always
stared at and compared !
