  yes let's start a list... what things do you feel are better left unsaid on jwn or on any public site maybe even ?.

  (1) planned affairs (2) talking about a partner who one day maybe post on site or has a friend who does.

  (3) anything to do with abuse of children.

  you make some very good points not the least of which is the following

  recently EVERYTHING changed when one spouse left the religion. I think the questions about infidelity were more a "how do I deal with this distance I suddenly find between my spouse and I" question

  Fellow feel does go a long way... trying to understand the input people are looking for.. thinking out loud

  trying to cope under difficult situation ! In other words some people are really crying out.. what are my others options

  .. give me some idea's to run with ! Poor wording or bad wording (choice of words )does always mean a bad person or evil intent

  as I have proved on this very post.... my wording appears to say that child abuse should never be discussed here NOT my intent at all ..

  Sorry for my poor wording .. I agree abuse should be discussed and brought to light.

  What I meant was siding with or minimizing abuse of children as normal

  example a recent thread that stated that sex with 13-14 girls by a 22 old male was OK or normal not so bad

  therapist says affairs can help some/my marriage....really...

  well that took me back a bit...but since i have led a double life since third grade...i have become the master of compartmentalizing...and since my exit and since it is now not just to my parents (as a youth)...but now having to do it to my hardcore jw wife....well...it just gets frikkin easier and easier...i now think i am becoming capable of stuff i would have never dreamed of...this is scary.... i have decided i can afford it financially though i dread this at 47, since this is the second time i would lose half my assets....crap...and my wife is a wonderful lady!...hot even!...but i so want to grow and be totally free...damm the costs are so high...why cant i be content with a non-nagging jw wife?????.

  oh...and basically it seems that if certain needs (not just sex!

  ) need to be met...and your mate will never know...than it can help your marriage continue with no bad side effects???

  I'm still on a book study list after 10 years...what??????

  today i found out that for some strange reason and i say strange we are still on a book study list.... .

  something to do with field service meet ups at various houses....well i haven't been to a meeting since.

  1997.....or memorial since 2001....go figure...... what are they thinking?

  We need more information and input about KH" lists 'when you're put on certain lists and why !

  What is the thin line between, marked, inactive, opposer etc . Are some of these "lists" just playing the numbers game ?

  Are they only there to impress the CO that everyone is cared for.. looked after ?

  How many years or maybe decades can you remain on the inactive list ?

  Congratulations, you made the third category. Unless you are DF, you will make the grade..lol

  Snakes (of the "never was assigned to a book study at my last congo" Sheep Class)

  These are my feelings too while we don't want to be associated with the KH. ..what would be the alternative

  to be marked or deemed as opposer's ? We must remember everyone is pigeon holed like it or not !!!

  ps.............I asked my JW mother what happened to the idea that when times get tough "great tribulation stuff "

  we could carry on in smaller groups through the book study groups... but the small book studies are gone

  So she informed me about this list and how they still have this safe field service arrangement for smaller groups

  For my part, my ego was well fed, being an elder and getting to go to Gilead. Thats what I got out of it. And I learned something very valuable about myself: I wanted power, I wanted prestige, and I liked the attention I got. (AlltimeJeff)

  I feel as if others might be drawn to a dogmatic religion, being dogmatic themselves...(AlltimeJeff )

  I agree that ego may be a huge factor in staying in the WT. however in point two quote .... seeming that most are born ins or are

  there as a family unit I wonder (even though it is a dogmatic religion ) if that many are drawn because of a dogmatic thinking ?

  Would not peer pressure and acceptance be a more accurate reason ? (although being dogmatic does seem to run in DNA )

  Would not the carrot (the new order ) be the initial drawing card ? First comes the love then judgement and guilt comes a little later .

  Most every group allows you ask questions... but when your character itself is called into question because you question the answer given, when all teachings are viewed as absolutes , unquestionable then ... "Houston we have a problem " !!!!

  If polite questions cause anger to come up... (watch for their neck and ears turning red trying to repress heated anger ) they are taking

  their teachings way too seriously and need to lighten up

  immensely !

  Even great truths can be somehow be twisted and slanted depending of the authors motivation and intent.

  Things can be justified in our own minds because of the need for inner harmony , peace and sense of purpose

  and some future prospect where all things make sense !

  As for a rule to follow I think there is none better than "Leavingwt" rule Good rule buddy !
