fast forward - i left in 2004 after a 5 year battle with my conscience, family and friends who kept insisting that i was just "weak and needed to have another bible study".
however hubby and i stayed together although it was kinda on the understanding that we would just not talk about it.
In the majority of cases though (where prenups aren't involved), the testimony of the spouse that the divorce is being sought due to "irreconcilable differences" is sufficient for a judge to grant the petition for dissolution of marriage. (In most parts of U.S. and Canada I believe )

The Lord said this: “And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality [i.e., fornication], and marries another, commits adultery” (Matt. 19:9, ESV)
Bottom line..... does one recognize scriptural authority or not ?

As stated at the end of the video, "November Rain" is based on the short story "Without You" by Del James, available in his 1995 book The Language of Fear. While much speculation exists about how Seymour's character in the video died, the relationship between the video clip and James' short story strongly suggests that she kills herself.
