On another thread i said that my opinion is that if a persons nature is to be caring and kind they will tend be that way regardless /in spite of their religion. OTOH, if a person is an ass %^ by nature he will be even worse with authority or in a religion/cult.

This no doubt is true above , but as pointed out to me even the most loving elders that wish to shepherd in love

help restore "discouraged ones" in time are shot down or burn out because their field service hours will suffer ...they will hear about it

from the other elders or the CO... hours are everything you know

We were very popular in the circuit. Born in 4th gen good little dubbies. We've only had 1 visitor/ 0 phone calls. We've been out 7 years.

All of those years that we sacrificed to the borg didn't amount to much

A person sees the reasoning or mind set here , it's not about "brotherly love "but obedience to the faithful slave.

Whenever person ever goes to a meeting the "welcoming ones" always say the same thing "It's good to see you here "

What I have said in the past is "Well it's good to see you here too, or at Walmart or wherever.... that's how true brotherly love works right ? "

True love will meet you halfway... it's all the way at the KH or nothing at all....."conditional love'

It's easy for me to say don't take it personally ...if you understand the mind set... but how can you not after believing these people

were your true loving brothers ?

Caliber, I see. If the world (TM) leaves you broken and bleeding and you decide to grovel enough, you might be extended a welcomeback at the KH. however, If the carnage is caused by THEM too bad . You must "not have been of our sort". Hey, they might actually be right about that!

Well that's about it.... to admitt any fault by "God's organization" would be too much to accept

Makes me think about another point.. I was once counseled for doing a one time job in a church. I told them at that time

that I beleived there was a difference between incidental work and actually work for a regular pay check from the church.

Nothing! I know I should be glad I/we are not being harrassed to return.......yet...... bummer nobody misses me.

Don't worry the motto or preception seems to be not to meet someone half but that you must return first ( like the prodical son , broken and defeated )
