  i recently broke up with my girlfriend of four years.. she is 40 years old, with health problems, financial problems, little family/friend support, and facing an uncertain future.

  i gave her some money.. the guilt i am experiencing right now is absolutely anguishing.

  she had very, very high hopes about our relationship and loved me very deeply.

  Never be in a relationship without love or if the person cannot love you faithfully and with someone whom you don't see a future together. If you were unequal partners this should have been self-evident from the start

  Relationship are built on different foundations... but the ones that last are built on trust and
  and honest open conversation .... unbreakable bonds can only endure where both come to fully embrace each other's being unconditionally.

  To create a relationship that feeds your spirit, you must open yourself up, become vulnerable, be a child in awe and fear.

  ......having failed to do this you still owe her honesty, NOW. I have heard it said "never give yourself fully always hold something back"

  this is asking for trouble and shallow feelings. Living a lie...... is still lying of the most hurtful kind

  July 2013 WT Sunday ? Who is now the FDS ?

  continue on wt july 2013...a question to all...so, the congregation gets fed spiritual food by the fds (past & now), right?

  the great tribulation and beyond.. but the article says, the fds will not come until after the un will attack christendom, jehovah will cut short the attack on false religion; god's people will be saved, then...jesus will judge people of all nations as sheep or goats, then.....jesus will appoint the faithful slave over "all his belongings ....so, have the fds been appointed as of yet & if not who has been given the congregation the spiritual food upto now...i'm confused...no i'm not..i do understand...i think a bunch of guys been feeding us.... i spoke to one of the sisters & she said, that jesus will appoint the slaves & give them additional duties...uh ?

  My memory about Watchtower doctrine is a little hazy. Didn't they used to say that Christ did an inspection in 1919 to see whom he could trust as a "slave class" to give out spiritual food? ~~~ Gopher

  Did not he WT have a couple of characters called that on their radio station back in the 20's

  The Watchtower Society had a radio program years ago. It was started
  in the early 1920's. The Society refers to it as WBBR, this is a
  little misleading as this is only the call letters.
  
  The Society also leaves the impression that the radio program
  consisted of sermons given by "Judge" Rutherford, this too is
  misleading.
  
  The Radio Show was the brainstorm of Norman Woodworth, the name of
  the show was "Frank and Ernest". It consisted of two brothers
  Named "Frank" and "Ernest" dialoging on a variety of scriptural
  topics.( It was also frank and ernest to look into the scriptures.)
  
  By the year 1928, Rutherford had made so many doctrinal and
  organizational changes that the producers of the show could no
  longer support the WTBTS, therefore Norman Woodworth and others
  withdrew their support, left WBBR and took the "Frank and Ernest"
  show with them.(Studies in the Scriptures officially ceased publishing in 1927. [ 1 ] )
  
  The Frank and Ernest show was then supported by the Associated Bible
  Students of Brooklyn. (in other words it became an "apostate show " )

  and why you use it ... Are you saying people are looking for praise and attention that is beyond normal ? What is the borderline

  between normal desire for praise and acceptence and what you define here ?
