Many years actually. My mother had raised me in the truth. Though I had realised it wasn't the truth it was very difficult to leave because of my mother. Finally I couldn't stand living a lie and I left nearly 30 years ago. I never regretted that decision.

I thought NOBODY would ever rebuild or live in Babylon?....but.....
by oompa incheck the last city here....i googled "babylon, iraq population'....and other things on the city, and one archaeological site wrote that many archaeologists urged sadam to not build and grow modern babylon directly over many of the old ruins....but he did it anyway.
i saw a news item about their new mayor!.....jw's used to say this could never ever happen.
is this indeed basically the same city?....only 90 miles south of baghdad?...................oompa.

I find myself just getting "tired" of waiting for the End of the world. U2?
by booker-t inis the end of the world just a fantasy in religious people's mind?
i am really beginning to believe we were all just made to believe in a fairy tale.
i still love jehovah and jesus but my faith is just wasting away behind waiting for a change such as the rapture/armaggeddon/paradise earth.

Yes, it is a fantasy and a fairy tale, but it keeps many people in fear and staying inside the Borg. You can wait all your life for Armagaddon. Millions of JWs have lived and died waiting for something that never will happen. Personally I stopped waiting for it about 30 years ago.

Hello Freydi!
I'm actually half swedish and half danish. My mother i s danish, but I was born and grew up in Sweden. Unlike most swedes I understand danish, so I always have to translate was danish people say to my swedish friends who don't understand a word of it.
