WT and AW Issues You Just Couldn't Place
by AvailableLight inhaving just read the donut shop thread, i was reminded of the typical way my fellow publishers and i would deal with hard- or impossible-to-place issues of the watchtower and awake!
magazines.. one in particular that comes to mind is the issue of the wt, released around the late 80s or early 90s, that depicted a close-up facial shot of an old man with tremendously bushy eyebrows.
my friends and i affectionately dubbed him "pubic brow.

Hey All,
Personally I think that the size of the church should meet the needs of the people locally. I wander how in the world can they afford the bills that come along with those churches? It is sad to say that many churches have been closed because of high bills, reparing and lack of people.

i don't post that often but i would like to share some poetry i wrote awhile ago.. last days.
people say the end is nigh god will punish and all will die.. goodness will reign over evils past and the earth be restored with the first and the last.. we are the chosen god told us so,take my hand and let us go.. we will preach in all the lands taking books in our hands.. telling all that ours is the way and having gods favour on judgement day.. woe to you people who instill this fear in the young and the old from year to year.. following your rules and the things you say breaking them down at the end of the day.. not allowed to question what they feel is untrue to be tossed aside and classed as fools.. woe to you who have control and power because judgement day will be your final hour.. thanks for listening

" look into the eyes of a young child who has been a victim and you will see why.
look into the eyes and life of a grown women whose life has been scared from childhood, and hear about the hell she has had to work through.. if you could see my eyes, you would see the eyes of experience - you would see a man who, as a 5 year old boy, watched his sister raped by a pedophile - and who knew the feeling of being totally helpless.
