i used to start looking at the clock behind me, look at my watch, look at the speaker or person handling the part and give obvious facial expressions expressing my dissatisfaction.

it was a pet peeve of mine!

a few times when i had the last part in a service meeting, i'd say, rather sternly,"this originally was a 15 minute part but because we are running out of time, we will dispense with (whatever).".

just a reminder to get your mammo, at least by the end of the year.. the komen foundation has done so much for breast cancer awareness..........is anyone doing the race for the cure in their area?

i am only a sponser .........i may be a late entry, not sure yet.. and guys, tell your ladies to get their boobs pinched.............you have a interest in it as well!!!!

First I would like to point out that I am not trying to derail this thread with meanness or bad spirit. Everyone was posting pink ribbons and well that doesn't really do much. Obviously we know about Breast Cancer since we are looking at this thread. What does help, is giving to local charities that are trying to help women in need of check ups and medical expenses. Often people get so caught up in buying these products where 1% of your money goes to breast cancer survivors and research. If you really care why not just give the 100% of what you were going to spend? That's all I wanted to point out.

I don't think you read the initial intent of this thread, so here it is:

Another money saving idea

a while ago someone here asked about money saving ideas for food.

i told him about the share food program which i used in california but was unable to find the program here in indiana.

i recently found it here but the host location was too far to make it economically feasible.

I'm sure they, the cable company, was there to install the playboy channel. It helps the BOE to interrogate (sp) young ones about what exactly they did or did not do during heavy petting sessions. Visual images make more of an impression than simply asking leading, emberassing questions.

What you are doing is noble. Please don't let what others say discourage you. You are raising awareness, which is the key. If this thread causes some to do a little more research in the methods used for testing, diagnosing, and treating cancer, then the message was received. We should all be well armed with as much knowledge as possible about this horrible disease. Knowledge takes away some of the fear and sheds a little light on the unknown.

Tell you what, I will MATCH whatever purps calculates for the pink ribbon posting donations. I believe the fight is this important.
