  Intresting that in the so called challenge to Jehovahs authority or his name or his rulership by the rebellious angel, no mention is ever made in any wt artice on what would happen if satan won the challenge. WE know that satan can be hurled to earth, and made into god of a world dethroned and abyssed for 1000 yrs but nothing from the othe side of the challenge, like ok jeh if i win this is what i want.....so if he did win jehovah leaves and then what?...a challenge is given to someone and accepted by another. are there rules? are there rewards? are we in the loop?

  Evolution and time and energy = Life,---- What about Information. DNA is encoded information. Random chance and organized information are opposites- the only way to get information into the "system" would be from a " being" outside of our world

  Consider that some scientists have said our universe in not infinite, but finite; if were in our own "little" universe, it just might have needed to have someone set certain laws of physics into play. Im not sure. Did gravity need to be created or does it just instantaneously appear when planets are created because thats just what happens when shit happens.

  Im not a physicist or PHD but i can read.....It makes just as much sense to me that a superior alien intelligence is using the earth as their lab and were the guinea pigs. It will always be a mystery i dont know BUT dna is an issue that needs to be adressed ..if theres no intelligence that played a part in our existence then what about DNA? Doesnt it appear to have been placed in humankind?

  they studied for over a year and even attended meetings for a while.

  at the indoctrination sessions, though, they seemed to be able to see through so much of the nonsense.

  The most agregious quote i know of ..i cant place the WT artice but- c1974,- however,i can paraphrase it......

  "Now is not the time to be toying with the words" concerning that day and hour no one knows..." ............at a time they were expecting an event ..1975.

  i remember reading an article in the awake about prince charles when refering to his future they said he probably will not be king as the end is so close....

  any one recall ?

  Just cause someone is strongly grounded in their beliefs and can explain them wirh a knockout punch doesnt mean he wants to start a cult......A GUY LIKE THAT WOUDNT COME ON THIS BOARD FOR THAT but he would look for an outlet to scream out what he has in his heart ..isnt that to be respected especially when he has a point ?

  I would have to say, that, it is revealed that the Son of God, also a spirit like GOD was born of a virgin, the revelation is made that the entity was moved from its heavenly place and fixed into the womb of a human.If the Bible hadn't of revealed this i wouldn't read it anywhere else..?.. and that he was brought back to life by a supernatural ressurection and that there were a lot of witnesses to this. The fact is that after the appearance of the ressurected entity all kinds of churches started appearing all over the place and this cause and effect is the reason the Bible is time tested and true.........SO we have a person who was walking around saying he is the Son of God. Then we have churches and pockets of believers spreading all over the place. Case closed.

  Given the small scale of 28 ppl= Only 4 served less than 20 years
  Theres perhaps about 500-600 ex JWs on this board from the member directory that im sure would say that Belief and not Morality was the deciding factor in leaving.It seems the majority of those that should leave the religion in the future should be from lengthy servitude.
  Im wondering what % of JWs are leaving ?? 25,000-40,000?? and after what period of time, and is it getting longer, or shorter? (Heather and Gary Botting analyzed some statistics in their book The Orweillian World of the Jehovahs Witnesses in mid 80's)
  I would love to know what % are Dfd for apostasy in relation to other issues. (Nowadays it would seem that the child rape issue is mingled with apostasy so many should be leaving in the next 5yrs is my guess) Does the Society still publish #'s for those Dfd on a yearly basis?

  however, i have jw cousins with grown grandchildren (that makes 6 generations), and two of them are married--all in the "truth.

  when i lived in windsor, ont i used to get 97.1 fm talk...which had the tom lykus show....topless/flash fridays when ladies would flash other drivers....anyhow he loved to debate on christian topics....once though he reduced a poor lady in a bad relationship to tears by ranting bout her 'pathetic disaster of a marriage'......another time he went on about how women having babies was no more a miracle of life than taking a dump, both biological functions that happen millions of times all the time ...... and expunged on that for a loooong time.

  well i for one miss that kind of radio when im in my car not listening to tunes..theres nothing like that in ontairo....even if i dont agree with all he says...

  I miss listening to the dude, looks like he put on some weight! almost like me.haha...i always wanted to go to those outdoor parties he has for his listeners...u know what m talkin about... What i liked about him was that he never backed out of an arguement, ever. especially on the subject of god ..very entertaining...when stern went though he also went soon after....
