  Gotta move back home and it sucks.

  my home town has maybe 500 people in it...with over 100 witnesses.

  how do you like that ratio?

  i have to move back for a while for a bunch of reasons and it totally sucks big time.. .

  we all know the shit is going to hit the fan,with the release of barbera anderson`s new cd:"secrets of pedophilia in an american religion:jehovah`s witness`s in crisis".....the wbt$ is going to take a beating,so are the jehovah`s witness`s.....there are two reactions to consider..and..they are the subject of this thread................what will be the reaction of the wbt$?..and..what will be the reaction of jehovah`s witness`s?...outlaw

  Not allowed to sleep over - is that weird?

  okay, so my guy and i have been together for 10 months and we usually are ok together.

  but there is something that has been getting to me and i think its unusual, but please correct me if i'm wrong - he won't let me sleep over at his house.

  and he hardly ever stays at my house, he's maybe stayed here 3 times in our whole relationship.

  I guess we'd have to define terms - what circumstances would satisfy your notion of 'fall' as in the "fall of the WTS"? What would it's demise look like? Seventy percent of its membership gone? 60%?

  I don't see the current status of the WTS as the same ol,' same ol.' They are fighting a real giant now, not some mythical straw Satan-boogie-man or "Babylon the Great," the UN, false religion, science, evolution, or the Catholic Church. The puny little WTS loved to take on those biggies who wouldn't bother to fight them. But the Internet is giving them a run for their money. And the WTS, the dinosaur who refused to keep up with he world it occupies, is losing.

  I wouldn't count forcing the society to lose 20-30-40% (or even 50%) of it's following to be success at all, in those regards (of a 'falling')

  I don't think anything that has come out so far will achieve anything close to that, either...

  I've been in this 'fight' for a long-long time.

  It's not going to happen.

  Just watched Anderson Cooper's report on 60 Minutes...

  on the topic of "snitching".

  i was very troubled to hear that the "no snitching" policy is so pervasive in the african american community.

  if this report is accurate, this policy is a rule that is followed fervently.

  Earned Income Credit (The IRS site is good for something....)

  In other words, why should the poor get back even more, IF they're getting a refund of more than they paid in?

  It's just another reason (besides welfare) to stay poor....

  it was the poorest people in America that were the hardest hit by Bush's tax and other policies

  How do you figure?

  The poor were just the ones to get the least amount in his refund policies.

  BUT, the poor are the ones that get back more in refunds than they made all year (due to the - oh crap; I can't remember what it's called....)

  Most serial killers are white males.

  most times; that's true... I don't think this is so much a 'race' thing though, as it is a "criminal mind" vs. "us" thing. unfortunately there are more criminals per capita in the black race, than there are in most others... THAT is most likely caused by poverty/environment issues...
