i'll say this i find it very strange that you said like a good little JW. i never cared to look into the whole trevorgate thing although i think i've gotten the drift. It seems weird to me since you said that you avoid apostate terminology or something in one post but then say nice little witness in another. The reason it is weird to me is because you still believe in jehovah and want to go BACK to your regular JW life.
When i was scared of even thinking apostate stuff i certainly would have never said something like this. The witnesses you know are more internet savvy so they know these expressions....they go on apostate sites as well??becasue this is what it is by the organization's standards.
I do believe that some weird things like this could happen to you in a congregation that is mostly made up of a couple of families. Totally believable. But why clean the KH? WHYYYYY? WHYYYYY?
you have to respect YOURSELF. i think you may have noticed that posters here have not been kind to the victim role you have placed yourself in. Now understand me i am not saying it is a fake role but that you have genuinely resigned any form of self-worth or value that you have as a person to saty part of the organization.
It can be difficult to empathize with that, especially for people who have DA'ed for example for reasons outside of their personal experiences but because of issues bigger than them (blood, molestation, discrepencies in teachings causing death of thousands,etc)
Some may be reaacting to your weakness. I know it is hard if the society has brainwashed you into thinking you are nothing without them. When i was first disfellowshipped i was physically sick and thought i would suffer a sudden death because i was no longer in the org. The organization has abused you long enough by insulting your intelligence with flip flop doctrines and wasting your time....ooh and i forgot the issue with your daughter.
You have said your daughter to not be the most gorgeous girl at the hall. I understand fully why she would leave. I have seen many sisters not deemed pretty enough leaving to be with someone who appreciated them. you should be close to her as she may be with an abusive man if i remeber correctly?
You turned her in to the elders!!!! shame on you!!shame!!
keep repeating that to yourself.Start disassociating your JW persona froml the person you are really within. Think it was a disgrace for me to do this but the person i really am would never turn in her own flesh and blood.you weren't in the truth from birth, you know how you were before start nurturing that person that you were again. Start being as skeptical as you were when you first joined.
Anyways the organization has abused you and your congregation has abused you even more. Why would you take that kind of treatment? at this point you need to ask yourself some serious questions.
Why are you staying? do you feel you have nowhere else to go....if so wake up cause your cong ain't the place either. I'd rather sit at home alone then with looneys at the hall. It's made up of 2 families??? they're probably all friggin inbreds!!
There was the hypothesis thrown about that you may be crazy...i don't know and don't care. You may well be ...at the end of the day we're looking at how you're being treated and what you can do to improve YOUR situation. If in your hearts of hearts you feel you may have been feeling paranoid and generally mentally tired from your life in the org then get the help you need by seeing a therapist. It's not unusual for that to happen. BUT STILL LEAVE THE ORG!! it will only worsen any condition you may be feeling. You may want to see an analyst even if you are feeling stable...;sometimes the org warps our thinking so much over such a slow dragged out process that we think in one way and an analyst can actually help u see a situation for what it's really worth. All that can come from it is healing and i think you need some whether you are the one to blame for this strange behavior or they are.
Please see my post as one who is just focusing on you and do not think i am insensitive to the details of the situation. I can't know what the truth is and won't try to figure it out i am just looking at the situation from the point of view that you have expressed.

i speak out more here than i do in real life....i'm a bit shy about my opinions in real life. i keep to myself more in that sense.but since it's a forum for discussion it's only normal to have a voice.
i'm also less sensitive here. people's opinions don't really phase me. i feel it's like a game, if u can't take it u can't play. i did get heated once though, then i laughed at myself thinking i had been pretty silly.

adam sandler has come a long way as an actor, and i thought he did very well portraying the feelings someone has who keeps the pain of emotional tragedy inside.
i'll never feel ok about all the damage caused by me when i was at my worst.. the movie also made me think about me and my relationships and us as a group of people affected by something so tragic in some cases.

black sheep-- i thought the same discussing the bible with a recent exJW friend of mine. if we're made in god's image then i can understand why he lets suffering happen to prove his point of sovereignty.don't politicians risk civilian casualty for their purposes?
if he has these amazing traits that we can't fathom because of our limited experience then i don't want a 'god for dummies' account. i'm ok with not understanding.
my friend said of a philosopher that had this theory that we actually have an impostor god at the moment. one that replaced the one we originally had.
