comforted of god booklet.. first off, im sorry about the file size.
this seems to be a different edition of the book that atlantis put up a while ago.
it was my fault that the quality of that one was not so great, so sorry about that too.
does anyone know of any working links to an .iso file of the watchtower library?
otherwise can someone please post one.
thanks.
google books now has up russell's book: the divine plan of the ages and the corroborative testimony of the great pyramid.
it's a special edition that combines volume 1 of studies in the scriptures with the chapter from volume 3 on the great pyramid.
i believe this edition dates from about 1912 or so.
Now I don't have to bother to scan mine into a pdf. So thanks for this.
And if anyone want's the book, there is one on ebay at the moment.
i can speak only japanese.
please allow my strange english.

Hi , thanks for the scan of the page.
Would you have a scan of the entire issue of the Messenger.?
Maybe as a pdf ?
I put http://godpresencewithin.web.fc2.com/pages/jw/akashijunzo.html through 'Babel fish' to translate it to English,
but it was almost as bad as the Japanese to understand.

Filmed on location in Durham, the film is inspired by a true-life story,

A great film I think. I can remember as a JW thinking that we were the only ones that
abstained from blood, and that this somehow marked us as having the truth. So to see this
film, was a bit of a surprise, even some type of a badge of honour. 'It must be about us I
thought'. In the movie the religion of John Harris is not specifically mentioned, but I
can remember seeing the meeting times on the wall of the hall that they met in .

Sounds curious, perhaps this film was about the JW's with out actually saying so..
However I also have the book that the film
is based on, and some interesting statements are made.
The Religion that is mentioned is one I have never heard of before, and I can't seem to
find out about it either, even after a google search or two. Perhaps some of you have come across
some information about this group before.
The ''Neighbours of God'' is the name of the group in the book, and they are
mentioned as selling a monthly magazine called '' The Beacon '' This group
was started in the US, in the 1880's by a man named '' Colonel Silas P Quinn
''. They also had some idea of 144.000 going to heaven.
I do suspect that it might be one of those cases were ''the names of the people and places have been changed to protect the innocent''as the saying goes.
And I should warn all of you philistines that the
film is in black and white, not colour
Does anyone have any info ?
thanks so much

here is the informant for june 1939. it has an article which says regular publishers should go out 60 hours in the field service in june and try to place 100 booklets.
and other interesting info.
it is bookmarked and searchable.
here is a issue of the bible student monthly.
this a large 4 page tract, this is no.7 of volume 7.".
the bsm tract publication started in 1913 so this one should be from 1919, the tracts mentioned in the ads seem to comfirm that.. i have the pages split in 2 with a small overlap, because i did not get them stitched.
