I should have said we are to be judged by our brain condition since the heart has nothing to do with our emotions. Well it sometimes beats faster if we get excited.

7 Congregations in My Area, VT, MA, NH, Have Been Cut to 3!!!
by Seeker4 ini got this verified today.
seven congregations that were in my old circuits now are only three.. north and south gardner, ma were merged.. north and south claremont, nh were merged.. north adams, ma and bennington, vt were merged.. the wilmington, vt congregation was dissolved.. there has been discussion to merge the keene and swanzey, nh congregations, but there are some strong personalities among the two bodies of elders opposing that, so it is not likely to happen, though i hear that keene has got some big problems in its boe and very poor service, etc.. that's 9 congregations within about a 70 mile radius that are all seeing some serious trouble.. anyone hearing anything similar happening where they are?.

None closing that I know about. There are several that are now 2 congregations, one spanish and one english, both using the same KH. We are being flooded by Mexicans.

I've been thinking about this for a while. I hear people say God will judge you by your heart condition. What gives you your heart condition? Is it affected by your DNA, your childhood raising, your brain and the chemical balance, the way life has treated you, the culture you live in? Do you have complete control over the way you think? Can someone else get controll over your mind, sort of like the WT. society does?
I have so many questions about life that I can't truly understand. There are so many different personalities, which is a good thing or life would be so boreing. Do criminals chose to be that way or is their mind just messed up?
Can someone explain this for me?

I sort of feel like you do about life and where it came from. Some other questions, where does space begin or end? What is time? Is life just some chemicals in the brain with a few electrical circuits? Why don't animals concieve life as humans, or do they? Why are there so many forms of life? Why so many viruses, bacteria, parasites to live on us? If there is a God he doesn't care too much about his creation.
I'm tired of trying to figure it out and can't just have blind faith in something I can't understand. If there is a God I hope he can understand my disbelief in him.

Death is all I see lately

also my neighboor, and a woman i had worked with for years.
it really makes me sad to see so many people i know dying.

My daughter's farther in law died this week. Also my neighboor, and a woman I had worked with for years. It really makes me sad to see so many people I know dying. It just reminds me that it's just around the corner for me. I can't seem to enjoy each day I now have. The economy is going down the drain along with so many other things that don't brighten my day.
Depression is getting a hold on me. My wife is sick with some type of virus that keeps her going to the bath room and she feels awfull. I need a beer or something.

My grandmother brest feed a black baby one day when she was a JW calling on a family out in the country. She said he looked hungry and she felt sorry for the baby. This was before I was born I think, back in the 20s.

Does the economy have anything to do with who produces the products we buy? Every thing I see in the stores is made in China or some other foreign country. Almost all the textile companies in my town has gone to another country. This global economy idea is making our economy like the other ones that didn't work so well. Does anyone know how to run this economy, or maybe it just works on it's own?

i have my 3-d eye glasses....and i saw two really old ladies today...
by oompa inno i did not see them with the 3-d glasses....i just did not want to do two seperate threads...they have nothing to do with the old ladies.
the old ladies at th grocery store........one in a wheelchair trying to get out of it and into the car...the other old lady trying to help her had to be her daughter.....she looked about 75...the mother looked at least 95....i just sat and watched the whole process....it went very very slowly.
i must confess, i look at old people a lot...esp nice old coulples that you can tell have been married 50 years.

What happened to the 3-D eyeglasses? I'll be 73 next week and can still get around pretty good. My wife's dad worked laying brick untill he was 80. I hate seeing old people who can't walk without a cain or have breathing problems etc. My wife still expects me to cut wood for the fire place using a chain saw and do all the things I did when I was 40. She uses her dad as an example. She says if I give up doing things I did before I will just fade away.
My back went bad about a week ago and it hurts to bend certain ways. I think raking leaves started it hurting again. It was a problem I had about 40 years ago when I was moving boxes of paper that we used on the computers at work. I hope it goes away soon.
