Moving on is tough, I know. Losing your religion AND a loved one is a life changing experience. Especially when you've been counting on seeing that parent or child in the resurrection, and then find out there ain't gonna be no resurrection, as least not as the Watchtower portrays. Take care.

i'm ashamed to say i have lurked here for a couple of years without having the courage to jump in.. the insight i have found in these posts has done much to heal the broken hearted.. there is no one that can truly understand this particular experience this without living it.. i was raised in the lower mainland of bc., i will share my own experience as courage will alow.. sincere thanks to all of you for helping me to heal and understand that i am not all by myself.

Yes, all the time. Even though I know the Watchtower Society is just a huge business corporation, the tapes still play.

as some of you know i have been have a few health problems lately.. i went to the doctor today to pick up my application for a handicapped parking permit.
when we talked he said he would sign it for a year.. well he signed it as "permanent disability".
in one way this is good because if they don't figure out the problem and find a solution i won't have to keep applying for it.
