puffsrule post on women's place in the society prompted me to share this website with you.
this group's name is fathers for life...and what a strange little club it is.. i hope i get this right...forever.freeshell.org/actions/jw200111.htm .
maybe someone can make it clickable.. in this article they slam the october and november 2001 for being "too pro-woman," and go on to give many examples, including the one about battered wives.. .
I especially got a kick out of this part..
Bring the issue up for discussion the next time Jehovah's Witnesses come to visit you. We need friends, not enemies, and so do the Jehovah's Witnesses. It'll be far more effective to discuss things with them than to send them away without talking to them. Tell them that now that they have begun to spread lies and propaganda by feminist man-haters, you find it difficult to accept that anything they have to say to you could possibly be the truth.
Witnessing to the Witnesses, the blind leading the blind certainly fits.
it is a gorgeous morning here in n.e.scotland so we are going to get the kids & dog into the car and go to the beach for a couple of hours.
it's about a half-hour drive to a choice of unspoilt beaches, next stop norway.i think we are very lucky/blessed/ fortunate (delete as appropriate) sometimes we see dolphins and once a seal.
it is a good place to think about spiritual things.wish you were here.
Meatpie,
Have a great day. My dream is to go to Ireland and Wales. My brother has been in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. He tells me the scenery is outstanding in Wales and Scotland. Have you ever visited the Shetland Islands?

Imbue,
Thank you very much. I have a lot to learn about getting links to work and especially getting to copy and paste articles.

This tirade ends with.."In my experience Jehovah's Witnesses are family oriented, peace loving and kind. However, it is obvious that some elements of militant feminism have infiltrated the ranks of their editorial staff."
Do the boys in writing know about this? Maybe someone should warn them!!

if it was'nt for the internet i would still be stuck in the endless cycle of drone like meeting attendance and field service.
(technically i'm still in but not for long) i'm really glad that some ex-jws took the time to speak about the real truth.
for the longest time i always thought that what i was taught was correct, i never even felt the need to question it or validate it with actual facts.
I had doubts at times, but pushed to the back of my mind. When I started lurking here regularly last August, the UN situation was breaking out. After reading and discovering what the Watchtower had done,it felt like a kick in the stomach. I literally was in a daze for several days, almost pulling in front of a car I never saw. All I could feel was betrayal and shock. Now all I feel is anger.

have you folks or your agents read and carefully digested the posts in the very recent thread entitled "how many got the real truth from the internet"?.
and it spells trouble for you.. you would be doing the world a favor if you just admitted your faults and disbanded the entire organization.
and given the destruction you've wrought in people's lives over the last hundred years and more, that's exactly what you should do.. but, since there's so much money involved you won't do that until you're forced.
Excellent essay, spot on.

dear fellow posters,.
ozziepost and his beautiful wife mrs ozzie are going through a very tough time right now, at the hands of the wts and its henchmen.
in the space of a few weeks, they have lost their children and other family members due to the unchristian attitudes and pharisaic dogmas, despite having tried to quietly fade away from the wts.
Dear Mr. and Mrs Ozzie,
So sorry to hear of your heartbreak.
Sincerely,

i'm not an elder but i do have a photocopy of the book from the net.
a number of elders in the congregation say that i should hand it over to them as "i should not have it.
" the chief reason they give for their request is that the information therein (such as the chapters on judicial cases) is not for my consumption and would not be of any use to me as i'm not an elder in the same way a book on surgical technique would be of little use to me if i wasn't a practicing surgeon.. the claim is made that those who post confidential "to the body of elders" letters on the net are being dishonest - therefore they are not christians.

Maybe someone can help me out here, as I guess I'm confused. I thought the Elders's Textbook was referred to as the "Flock book?"
I went to Kent's site and the secret book shown was the"Organized to Accomplish our Ministry." I've had that book for years, and still do.
How can that be a secret book? Thanks.
