west st. paul police are looking for suspects who shot three holes into windows at a jehovah's witnesses hall last week.
people in the building heard shots about 8:30 p.m. wednesday and saw a midsize newer car with a rounded body speed away, west st. paul police chief terry cook said.
It seems people are getting a bit angry over the Watch Tower protecting pedophiles. Wait until Dateline airs, there will be more then just a few broken windows then!
I’ve been warning my wife about the reaction she may now get at the doors, however I didn’t consider the likelihood of vigilante action at the halls. I just hope nobody gets seriously hurt.

it does seem to be a reasonable form of disapproval, especially if his father was very fond of the lady concerned.
think about it, they were probably the 2 people that the father would have loved most in the whole wide world.
You poor old sod, don’t you know that they should be shunned to whatever extent it takes for them to see the light and the error of their ways.
Yes I know it may seem harsh, perhaps even a bit cruel to continue to punish them after they have stopped sinning, but they must continue to be shunned nonetheless. Shun them I say, shun them until they realize what a pathetic and vindictive cult they are in. God willing they will do the right thing and leave, never to return.

I see a problem NYTEL, but it’s not the one you imagine. Under Watch Tower policy, if one does not have two witnesses, you must treat the alleged perpetrator as a member in good standing. That is a sick policy. What don’t you understand? Oh and keep your dollar.

jw's not a cult or sect just christians , would be the impression you get if you asked most people.. oh yes they get anoyed when they get woken up on saturday morning , they know a bit about there stand on blood and christmas, but not much else.. hey i went to my local libary today to see what books they had on jehovahs witness.first i did a search on the computer for coc, gentile times.. e.t.c none came up.so i went to the religion section to have a look.. lots of books on mormons , christadephians , christian science oh jehovahs witnesses ,damn its the procliamers book.. then i found a book millions now living will never die not the rutherford version but writen by an ex witness in the 60's.
(i noticed a lot of critical notes hand writen in there by people who have read it i bet they never told anyone the'd read an apostate book).
it was the only book in the libary critical of the witnesses.
I know JW’s are not part of a cult, and here is how you can tell:
If the JW’s were a cult they would have great control over their members lives; controlling everything from how they allocated their time to people they would be allowed to associate with.
Cults keep you busy and they have to pound their message into your head over and over in order for you to remain under their hypnotic spell.
Further if JW’s were part of a cult they would demonize and discourage you from talking to former members or even reading their literature.
Why if they were a cult, they might even tell you what medical care is acceptable and which is not, regardless of the consequences to your well-being.
Cults are intrusive; they will go as far as trying to control what you and your mate do in the privacy of your own bedroom.
Yep anybody can tell, JW’s are just good old mainstream Christians.

my judicial meeting took place on monday night.
i was a bit annoyed because the meeting centered on my private beliefs - things that i've already spoken to the elders about in the past many times before.
i don't think i handled myself as well as i wanted to, but i guess i did ok under the circumstances.

Don’t cults really suck? At least you are fully free now. Not that I know what that is all about since it seems they never bother to da/df me no matter what I do. Maybe I better change that name of mine. As far as your friends go, sorry for the loss. If it makes you feel any better, a recent Gallop poll suggests that friendships that are conditional based on adherence to a set of beliefs are pretty shallow. Just kidding about the poll but don’t you agree?

Oh yes attack not only the victim, but attack someone trying to protect these silent lambs too. You really must be a wonderful human. To bad you as a child have never had the pleasure of being raped by an adult that you trusted, or have you? Maybe if you had something thrust up your ass that didn’t belong there, then perhaps you would understand things a little clearer.
Religious bias aside, exactly what standard would you propose we use to investigate these alleged rapes. Are you suggesting we continue to use the Watchtower methodology of asking the alleged perpetrator “did you do this” and if he says no, we turn to the victim and say “sorry you don’t have two witnesses”, “oh and remember not to say anything bad about this man, don’t warn anyone else”. “Remember he must be treated like an innocent man because you did not produce two witnesses”. “Oh and one last thing, try and warn anyone else and we will disfellowship you, everyone you know will shun you, and in the end God will kill you too”.
Yes the Watchtower investigation and justice model has worked so well hasen’t it, (NOT!). The ball is in your court Proplog2, what do you suggest sport?

ok, here's the situation.
i have a good friend who i grew up with and now lives in mobile, al.
of course, when i was d/f'd a couple of years back, all contact was gone.
Funny you should bring up the subject of leading a double life. I see it not only in JW adults, but in their kids too. I have JW kids over my house all the time, some of them Elder’s kids and let me tell you, many of them are quite different when they are out of sight of the parents.
Some may think of this as spying (it is) but one of the things I do is monitor where my kids go on the Internet. My kids go to some stupid sites, but not porn sites, not on my computer anyway. Although I must say one kid has a fascination with Britney Spears. However, I’m sorry to say the Elders kids are a different story; porn sites are the fist place they seem to go.
I did not rat them out, as I don’t feel it’s my place to, I also know all about raging hormones, and after all I was no angel at their age, Come to think of it, I even had a subscription to playboy when I was their age. Then again maybe I should tell their parents. I am very torn on this issue, any opinions?
One thing I did do is let my kids know that I KNOW and because of that they told me “boy dad that ain’t nothing, you should know about some of the other stuff they did”; and then went into a litany of things a few of them did. Wow I realized right then and there just how much of a double life some of these kids lead. I also realized how worthwhile it has been to ensure my kids could come to their mom or me and talk about anything, because they really do.
If there is one saving grace about these kids leading double lives, I think it is that they will likely drop the shackles of the Watchtower as soon as they are out of the house. What do you think?
