I'm banned from the Silentlambs Website

i discovered a major security flaw on the silentlambs website, i e-mailed bill about it, setup up a small demonstration, mind you i told no one else about this.

and the demonstration was benine, because this flaw could allow someone to forward the site to say porn sights.

i won't go into detail, but let's just say i could cause alot of havoc with it.

I hesitate to make this post but perhaps I better before this gets to far out of hand.

Fist let me state Im not going to take sides between Bill Bowen and anyone else however I do have some information that may explain things. In particular, I will tell you why I believe Mr. Bowen or an administrator working in his behalf would be so quick to shut off access from anyone even remotely connected with causing problems on the Silent Lambs web site.

Yes Trauma, I understand you were genuinely trying to help. Finding security holes and reporting them is what I did for a living for many many years, so I understand exactly what you are saying and yes you did a good and positive thing. However not everyone understands the difference between a benign test to uncover an existing hole, or someone possibly causing a problem. A LOT of things have happened behind the scenes that most are unaware of.

That said; hear are some salient facts that may explain things:

Mr. Bowen has had the security of his site greatly compromised.

Many basic security features of his site were turned off by someone.

Mr. Bowens site has had backdoors planted on his site and he is not sure if they have all been removed.

Mr. Bowen believes he has been betrayed by a person or persons that he trusted, (there is quite a bit of supporting evidence).

Mr. Bowen is under tremendous pressure right now.

I'm not going to get into a debate bashing or defending Bill Bowen and I'm not going to elaborate any further or name any individuals involved in the compromise of the Silent Lambs web site, this person or persons know who he/she or they are, and so do I/we.

Yes Maryland is quite large. It is considered a suburb of Washington DC. Some areas are quite beautiful, other are not. It has farmlands, a large industrial harbor in Baltimore, as well as highly populated areas employing federal government workers (oxymoron unintended). Some of the more notable installations (at least to me) are the National Security Agency, located in Fort Mead MD, NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center located in Green Belt MD, and the University of Maryland. I lived and worked there for a number of years. Watch your speed as you drive through, the police are equipped with excellent radar/laser traffic speed enforcement equipment. Freeman

The book is not lost for you obviously found it.

Remember i t is just as valid as the other books of the Bible are except for the fact that the Catholic Church did not approve it. In jw terms think of it as not being on the approved list of Bible fractions.

What I find most interesting is that the Bible cannon, that is to say the accepted books of the Bible were more or less given their legitimacy by the Catholic Church. Yes the same Catholic Church that the JWs brand as a whore. Since the church will not approve it, I Pope Freeman will... The First Book of Adam and Eve is now part of the Bible, let it be said, so let it be done.

Very good links reborn, I always find your posts tend to make me think, however my point was not about the virtues of the Electoral College or lack of its merits, (I share the same view as you, lets get rid of it!) my point is about how often I hear people parroting these negative phrases about Bush, without really thinking about what they are saying. I am guilty too.

For a fact he does bring much criticisms upon himself because he has totally mangled the English language beyond repair, however beyond that he is far from an idiot if one were to consider his accomplishments.

I have only attended state colleges so I cant correctly gauge the difficultly in obtaining advanced degrees from Yale or Harvard, such as Bush has, but my workmate who holds two advanced degrees, one from a prestigious university, has informed me of just what an accomplishment this truly is. I take him at his word when he tells me that completing a Masters program from Harvard is quite different from state college, and is quite a significant accomplishment to say the least.

That was my only point. I dont necessarily agree with Bush politically, and I certainly think its time to retire the Electoral College system as it has long past its usefulness.

I just find it disturbing when I hear obviously very smart people parroting things without really thinking about what they are saying. Im guilty of it myself at times, but these days I tend to analyze things more then I once did, maybe too much. You see I was taken in by a cult and it robbed me of both years and family ties that I can never get back, so now I trust nothing, I examine everything I hear or read because if I could be so wrong about something so important, I could be wrong about almost anything.

Sorry for the length of this post, saying more then I intended to say, obviously Im not quite healed yet.

George Bush most admirable male? I don't know about that.

First let me state that I didnt want Bush elected, however when I read or hear things like Bush cheated, or Gore should be president because he won the popular vote, (and I hear that a lot) Im tempted to ask if the people making such statements are serious about what they are saying.

However I resist doing so because if they were to convince me that they did in fact genuinely hold that belief, I would have to seriously question their intelligence, or at the least there level of awareness.

Everyone realizes that no matter how many votes a candidate may get, it is the Electoral College votes that counts, you all know that right?

And you realize that if a certain activist Floridian court did not try and usurp the power of the duly appointed election officials, for which they were severely chastised by the Supreme Court, then there would have been a count, perhaps an automatic recount because it was so very close, and maybe another in quick succession if one or both of the candidates requested it and if the duly appointed election officials approved it. Had that been allowed to happen, we would not have had this long drawn out affair. But that is not how it went; we did it the hard way.

And everyone realizes that had the election process been allowed to proceed without interference, the net results would have been the same, you understand this right, you understand that no matter what happened Bush would still be president, you understand this right?

Al Gore would have won the popular vote, which entitles him to a really cool t-shirt and commemorative coffee mug, and George Bush would have won the all important Electoral College vote which entitles him to call 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. home for a minimum of 4 years and to have all the free rides on Air Force 1 he can stand.

So when people say such things as Bush cheated or Gore should be president because he won the popular vote, they dont really mean it, they are not stupid or ignorant of the real facts, they are just venting their frustration and anger, right?

Thats what I thought too, thanks for clearing that up.

Oh no!Who will study with me?!

i'm a little frightened after reading one of the study articles in the feb.1st watchtower.. what well meaning individuals will be fighting to study with me when they read the second study article?who will help such a weak one as me build up faith and appreciation?oh yeah,and can they count their time?after all,i am baptised.. maybe i will start knocking on jw's doors and say,"hi,i realise that you are an active member of the jw organisation,but i am here to welcome you into the inactive flock.i am willing to study with you,so you can appreciate how you have been mislead for so many years.

seriously though,i will have to start screening my calls and not answering my door(better yet,i will just let my dogs out).after 4 years of people not caring,now that they are told to,they will come in droves!

Oh please please study with me, I have so many questions that I need answered. Just off the top of my head here are but a few:

1.) Since Ted J. an elder and governing body member has been publicly accused of raping children, why is he still an elder let alone a GB member? How is it that he still qualifies for this position?

2.) I own a small corporation and from time to time we need to do research and so we must use public and private libraries to do so. Would it be OK to join the UN as an NGO as I understand you cant get a library card without doing so?

3.) If I am accosted by a gang of escaped woman convicts and each one of them had their way with me and I didnt scream, would I be Dfed for committing fornication, or does that apply only to a woman?

4.) Would you please explain and show from the scriptures specifically which crime Bill Bowen, Barbara Anderson and others committed that warrants them being Dfed and worthy of death.

I have many many more questions, so please someone, please study with me, I am spiritually weak and need help.
