I'd buy you a green dress, but not a real green dress, that's cruel.
I'm paying bills...Is it my imagination or do they seem to grow right before the holidays? Santa should visit parents, first, in early November, with a check!
Just for fun:

joelbear69: its been well documented that nothing bad happened in the United States
before prayer was taken out of the schools in the early 60s.
I'm sure you mean, "Nothing bad happened in United States schools prior to prayer being removed."
Maybe, but many, MANY people who had grown up in US schools with prayer firmly in place prior to the 60's committed or contributed to ugly, horrible, atrocious events after leaving those schools. Think Indian massacres, the Civil War, striker break-ups...there is a list to reach the sky.
I'm sorry, but I can't find validity in your argument.
I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period.
Oh come now. I'm a believer, and I don't even agree with that statement. Like WLG said, if your belief system can't stand up to a healthy debate or even controversy then maybe you need to work a little harder on the rafter in your own eye.
One of the better 'ads' I've seen that showed the frivolity of Christian oppression was a three picture panel. Frame one showed a picture of American indians being slaughtered with the word 'oppressed' underneath. Frame two showed jews being trampled during a pogrom and had the word 'oppressed' underneath. Frame three had a color picture of thousands of Christians in a mega church with their hands in the air. It had the words 'Not oppressed' underneath.

What is a chocolate spoon?
I believe its a spoon that's dipped in liquified chocolate and then the chocolate is allowed to firm up. You can take the spoon and use it to stir any hot drink and voila' choco goodness abounds.
it's been a while since this topic has been brought up.
use it as a chance to see if there is someone you might know from years past.

coincidence???????????????.
There is no doubt that music is effective tool in indoctrination of ideas. I'm going to be the first to Godwin this thread by bringing up Nazi Germany and the way the government used powerful music.
My seven year old has been carrying a cd to school for the last two weeks that my wife burned for her of 'I want a hippopotamus for Christmas' in hopes that she will be able to karaoke sing it during music class. She wants me to pop it in the cd player everytime I pick her up from school so she can practice it until its her turn.
But, hey thanks for getting the song back into my brain. Now I have to come up with a counter song to get it out.
"Dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh, o'er the hill we go, laughing all the way ha hah ha."
Much better.

I'm not a chocolate guy, I'm a candy guy. Anything you can do with sugar is for me. However, I always like your topics and I don't want to threadjack so I'll stay with the theme.
I married a chocolate lady who seems to be genetically predisposed to it because her dad is an out and out chocoholic. Around Christmas last year my FIL had taken to eating these little squares of dark chocolate marked with percentages. My wife sees him sucking these things and next thing you know she's hooked. She broke an edge off one once and gave it me. Dark and bitter. Fast forward to September this year and we're walking around the state fair and there is a chocolatier selling truffles. The truffles had percentages of something or other on them and when I asked what it meant the guy explained what it was. I bought a single truffle of the highest percentage and gave it to my wife and FIL to split. You know they really had to make an effort to get that little thing down and they both commented it was too bitter. My wife pretty much went off dark chocolate after that and my FIL went back to York patties and milk chocolate.
Last week my ankle biter turned 7 and I took cupcakes up to her school. I had a devils food cake mix I was using but when I looked in the fridge I had bought medium eggs and not large. Newsflash to me: eggs come in sizes. I joined Duncan Hines discussion board (why not it worked for me at JWD) and started looking for all things eggs. No help there on my specific question. Recipe called for 3 large eggs and I used 4 medium. You know that was the smoothest softest cupcake I've ever tasted. I got two kids who said, "You're a cool dad." and the teacher said my wife was a good baker. Oh well 2 out of 3 aint so bad.

Automatically thought of this when I read your headline subject:
i may be getting a/some biopsy/biopsies done tomorrow.
ugh!
i'm worried about how i'm going to behave during the procedure/s.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Yeah, I have an opinion.
That guy that threw the ball at the Dr. Pepper can at the Big 12 championship should have taken the $100k and gone home. He lost $25 grand with that crappy throw. What'd he practice with, a wiffle ball?
Oh, you meant an opinion on the championship game between Ohio State and LSU?
I defer all things football to the gifted and talented HL since my wife won't post on JWD.
