About "dawg" and growth...

i only checked in here briefley yesterday and missed dawg's "good-by" thread.

i posted there just now, but don't know if he is checking in any longer.. many of you realize he and i have had our differences.

in fact, is was after a "cyber-fight" with me that he left the last time.. when he returned, he pm'd me several times just making nice, brief little comments on things i'd post.

In the spirit in which the thread was started, I think the 'Dawg' was an asset to the board and I hate to see him gone (I had no idea, must have missed the thread).

When certain types of posters needed to be told to 'man-up' instead of getting sympathy for ways they were hurt by the witlings, Dawg never failed to deliver. It wasn't for everyone, but I bet he helped many realize the empowerment they have over the book publishing company.

Patronizing implies being offensive, which changeling in no way posted in the OP.

I'm no Yankee, but if the gb had been from Uzbekistan (sorry OM) and the cause and effect on human lives was the same today, I'd still be irritated.

Couple of variations on the web include grammatical errors. 'Whats wrong here' statement as opposed to 'What's wrong here' question. Some thought the original question was listed as "Find the error. It's impossible!" Then were variations on letter changes, lower case "L's" as "I's" and "V's" as "W's" and vice versa. Other sites had it listed as out and out spam and that there was no answer.
