  Avoiding an Elder

  i'm almost six months past walking away from the religion, and one of the elders has risen and thrown a monkey wrench into my entire plan.

  things have been great actually.

  since i've managed to shed myself of congregation responsiblities, the elders have gotten off my back quite a bit.

  Could you use that "confidential" letter and its manner of execution to your advantage?

  Could you not send your own letter (without appearance) to the BOE to tell them this elder is a troublemaker and spreading gossip about you through delivering "confidential" letters without courtesy of sealed envelope and distributing them to your family in order to purposely cause disharmony in your life?

  Surely you can find some scripture for his chastisement. Use his manipulating beligerence to cause him some reproof.

  Perhaps you can also assure them that you have no intention of meeting with any of them now as it seems they are deliberately contriving a situation for their own entertainment. Mention that you will go over their heads and inform (whoever they may find threatening) unless (you get an apology) or (they cease and desist the slander of your good name), etc.

  There should be some way you could turn this around in your favor. This was malicious intent of feigning "confidence" and involving people who should not have been questioned nor made privy to any personal information. This is truly gossip, slander and troublemaking. Go bite them in the butt!

  (Actually, I think this is just forshadowing to get people used to the fact that USA will soon give up soverignity when the borders of Canada and mexico will be opened and the continent united)

  the reason is the same as for splitting up the watchtower society in ccjw, kingdom support, inc, religious order of jw (and local convention planning organisations, read the anderson-files about having no agents everywhere), just juridical!

  FAIR USE

  Under section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. The law does not clearly define the boundaries of fair use, and it is necessary to make a decision on the following four considerations:

  Constitutional use of public domain material (uncopyrightable). Everyone has a constitutional right to use material in the public domain without limitation even if it is contained within a copyrighted work.

  (perhaps the members only will not be a "public domain" magazine and therefore a violation to copy the material?)

  For goodness sake....this IS a publishing company you are dealing with even though it masquerades as a religion. They obviously know any loophole. However, you could "flush them out" with tempting them to sue you for infringement and blow their cover wide open!

  someone i love asked me that the other day.. i said: "i'm a good person, and i love my family".

  i also said: "regardless of religion, i strive to follow the 'golden rule'.".

  i don't think this is what the person wanted to hear.. so, now that you no longer "serve jehovah", what are your friuts?.

  I especially love peaches.

  I have not had a decent peach in years....like picked at peak ripeness from the tree.

  I have learned to like mangos as a substitute. At least they ripen after being picked. Peaches don't. They stay hard and then they just go bad.

  I also really like pecans. (pa-kahns, not pee cans)

  But I don't know if nuts are considered fruits. I have seen those terms used interchangably when referring to lunatic people.

  So it still leaves me with the question: are nuts fruits? Are fruits nuts?

  Squirrel in my Bedroom

  good morning jwd!..as many of you know i live in the wilderness.this morning i woke up to scatching on my window..odd i thought,what is that?..just then a squirrel comes diving through my partially open window..i did what any fearless mountain man would do.i hid my nuts..lol!

  !..i tried to catch the little varmint with a fish tank net.that didn`t work,he`s just too fast..so i brought one of the huskeys in the house.took him about 5 minutes to figure out why he was in my bedroom.dogs are never allowed in my bedroom.he finaly spots the squirrel grabs it and took it outside..he got a nice treat for that..whats next?..a deer in the dining room..a bear in the bathroom?...outlaw
