My story- Here goes!
by Younglove1999 ini've just been writing away the past few days about my thoughts and feelings since my husband and i decided to finally call it quits and stop going to meetings.
in fact, he's the one who told me about this website.
he's a lurker though, so i don't think any have heard from him.

Welcome Young!
Your story is literally my fantasy story ! I wish my wife would be in complete agreeance to my point of view of the BORG. I have pretty much let her know about all WT issues like WT being associated with the UN for 10yrs, the blood issue, the shunning policy, Beth-sarim, and so on and so forth. She had the same answer to every single item presented and that was "you can't blame a whole organization for the errors of a few men". She even went to the extent of say that if she lost her life tomorrow for not accepting blood and next year the WT changed the policy, oh well, it was for a good cause and she would be resurected. (Not that I would let her refuse blood, haha!)
Congratulations and Peace.

Its true, most elders don't get any sex from their wives and so they end up trying to get their jollies off listening to young people's intimate details. We also confessed after being married since we did "it" before the ceremony but since the main elder involved saw my wife as a daughter so we got off easier getting privately reproved.

To continue fading or stop the madness!!!
by OnTheWayOut ini have this concern about fading.
my fade is calculated and very successful as far as .
avoiding a judicial committee for apostacy.

Hi OnTheWay...
I am also in a very slow fade only I was never an elder. I cannot make it too obvious to my wife since she already senses my apostate leanings. She call me "apostate" sarcastically when I sometimes subtly raise question with some WT dogma like Armagedon for instance. The other night for example we were watching some richey show on vh1 and one of those rich kids came on saying that they had tried going out on the work force and did the whole lunch in the cubicle thing and really thought it was not for them as they continued their partying life. My wife of course got mad at this and expressed it outwardly with a little JW-ism saying "...not for long, wait till Armagedon comes, you ain't going to be able to do THAT anymore, its going to be MY turn!" then I turn to her and say "exactly when IS that going to be? do you realize when Armagedon comes (she thinks I still hold my 2034 Armagedon theory) that kid will probably be in his 50's. Who's to say Armagedon will come at all or even in our life time!" She sure didn't like hearing that and just brushed it off saying "ok Mr.Apostate!" So I'm just taking it as slow as I can for now.
Like this week we had the CO visit but since we hadn't been in a while she totally forgot and so today she is doing her hair (highlights which take longer) so hopefully she gets out late enough so I can put a good excuse that its a little too late to go. I sure don't want to have to endure another CO talk and seeing everyone "on their best behavior" and "getting pumped up" from the CO talks.
As for your book, I say keep up with it as you fade and finalize your fade. You may more than likely have a change of heart once you have reached your total freedom from the Matrix.
Peace.

Fading? What's up?
by arker ini was a jw, finally saw my chance and wrote a letter to the elders saying how bad i am and how i don't want to meet to discuss it and to df me if you want.
that was the end of it for me.
my question is if you know you are "fading" you are already gone so why not make the leap?

ManHas..
I see your point. Thanks for your harsh critisizm. If it wasn't for your awesome advice I would have kept lying to my wife and kids and would have never been saved from ruin and unhappiness!
How truely great is the support you show to everyone here.
Kudos!

ManHas... I think.. I think... yea, I just grew them!
You know what you're right, I'll just go ahead and let my wife and kids know the real truth about the "truth" today after work, I have really been craving a good garnish of my wages once the divorce is final....
YOU'RE THE BEST MAN! WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT YOU!!!!
