Yea, the spanish one would be in the Meryl Center and I'll be stuck there all of this weekend but on the bright side at least I will be walking around the corridor with my "unruly" kid most of the sessions instead of being confined and tortured stuck in the same seat for hours.

Rosenburg is usually used for Circuit Assemblies since the cap is around 1800 or so.
From what I heard about this year's DC its all the same bs as every other DC except repeated in a different form.

I found it through Randy's Freeminds website and also through the AJWRB website (where my discovery began and where the huge can of worms was opened)

Why the bookstudy change won't affect as much as you think, tho big!
by Dogpatch inwhen prophecies faila sociological perspective on failed expectation in the watchtower societyby randall wattersfrom the bethel ministries newsletter may/june 1990 (now the free minds journal) .
few aspects of the jehovah's witness movement are more fascinating to the outside observer than their predictions of the end of the world.
yet the predictions themselves are just the surface ripples of a much deeper current in the lives of the movement's adherents.

I actually heard it from a family member where they announced it early at their hall this past Weds. since their meeting this Sunday is being cancelled due to some remodeling thats going on there. Apparently the main reason for this change that was brought up was the rising gas prices through out the world and that they know its only going to continue to rise and get worse, so in order to save on gas expenses bla bla bla bla bla. If they want to save everyone gas money they ought to just cut back on preaching and allow only one day a week at most. I'm sure they'll also put a theocratic twist and say to use the extra day to study more or something like that.

i already told a few jws and they are shocked, i even told 2 elders, they are both surprised and one of them dont believe me he thinks its regarding the field service, maybe a special tract.
i wanted to show off and be a real "know it all" hahah.

Well trust me, being an ex-ms when I was single did attract females but it was always the spiritual ones. Whether they were physically attractive or not did not matter, just the fact that they were spiritual made them unattractive and "nun-ish" as I used to call it. All the girls I was really attracted to always turned out to not be so spiritual and turned off by my apparent "spirituality" .
I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are many opportunities to find the right person outside of the org. If you look at it realistically the odds of finding someone you are most compatible with are waaaaaay better outside in the real world as opposed to in some super-restrictive organization where if you meet someone you really won't have a chance to really get to know them until you are married. "Don't forget, yall can't go out alone, take a chaparone."
F**k that sh*t !

My moment, my epiphany, my rebirth
by Layla33 ini remember it like it was yesterday, i was 15 years old.
i had woken up in the middle of the night and dared to ask the question that had been brewing in me for a long time.. "what if there is no armageddon".. i can't remember what the catalyst was, maybe observing my own family and every disfunction known to mankind, although every preached that in "jehavoh's organization" there were no such things.
maybe it was some ground breaking announcement, some new revelation that totally contradicated what i was mind controlled to preach every saturday morning, but in one moment, i dared myself to question it.

Thanks for sharing. Geez, I wish I would have thought of unplugging myself at that age, then I would have never bothered to get baptized. I guess I was too caught up in the "truth" back then.
