What always confused me is that if god calls the blood back to him because it's sacred, what's he getting so worked up about, I'm just borrowing it till I die, it's a pretty sound investment that I'm going to croak sooner or later so what's the big deal? Does God have patience issues? If the blood is such a big deal, why let thousands of years of blood shed happen? I mean, it's got to be a pain in the arse to have to magically vaccum up all the sacredness over the timespan of human existence and what the heck does he do with it when he gets it back?

by minimus infamilies with younger children had to sit in the last 3 rows or they were counseled!.
disfellowshipped persons were told not to sit next to each other and talk because it "looks like they're unrepentant"..

No off the shoulder or spagetti strapped dresses, immodest of course. I once got ragged out for wearing a barely off the shoulder dress to an assembly, wow, must have really turned some of those brothers on seeing a peek of shoulders.

Some things really ticked me off at the meeting last night...
by wantarevolution in...aside from the snooze fest that was the "bible study", taken by a brother who was 5 minutes late - went 10 minutes over and obiously hadn't prepared shit for the meeting (this is the same brother that "encouraged" me to be 15 minutes early for all meetings to welcome people).
1) i had the no3 talk, about "christians helping the poor", no source material or anything.
i played it good, spoke about our duty to be good christians, and charitable to everyone, and how it is a conscience matter as to how we donate our money or charitable deeds.i even used a quote by mother theresa.

Why anyone would want to attend meetings after seeing the "troof" for what it is, is beyond me, personally. I can think of alot better ways to spend an evening.......millions matter of fact!
As for what Tassel said regarding hopeful passages in the bible, well, quite frankly, it's pretty damned hard to listen to the bible 'message' when you can't hear crap all over the grumbling of your stomach. And to suggest that the "bible message" will solve all life's problems, that's a high ivory tower many do not have the luxury of living in today, tomorrow or next year.

i grabbed some extra paper towel-one sheet only, and wiped off the excess water.

I completely disagree, I worked in a hospital for several years as a cleaner and the men's bathrooms (doctor's in particular) were repulsive and disgusting. Sorry guys, but it's not so big that you can't all aim it right....

I've got pneumonia
by sacolton inafter a week-long battle of what i thought was a bad case of upper respiratory infection, i decided to get checked out by my doctor.
after a chest x-ray, it's confirmed that i have pneumonia.
i feel horrible.

Yup I had it once, contemplating if I had it right now again...been sick over a week with a flu that isn't going away...same symptoms. Oh joy...from experience, REST, REST, REST Sac and make sure you take your meds on time. (And yes I'm going to go to the doctor's.)
