Massive donations to the WTS

have any of you or people that you know such as relatives or friends, made a very significant donation to the wts?

by that i mean property, or money in excess of let's say $10 000. .

enriching an already very rich organisation has to be moronic, they are the ones that should be helping the poor among them the proverbial orphans and widows.

Ever have a "paranormal" event or experienced something unexplicable?

once when i was returning from work i decided to take a short cut home.

it was the halloween week and ppl had their houses decked out.

i turned into a dark road that has a house just every so often.

I had one really bizarre experience, can't believe I am going to type this but oh well. I was on a roadtrip with my kids to visit my parents, who live in another province, I was pretty tight for cash at the time and I was worried about the gas lasting long enough for me to get there and back without having to add any more.

It's about a 6 hour drive. My car fills up at 55 dollars for a full tank. Normally it would take about a tank and a half to make the trip both ways. So, I kept looking at the gas tank and thinking, don't go down, don't go down, seriously, lol. I drove the last 200 km's of the trip with the gas gauge not moving. I thought, what the heck, it must be broken! I arrived at my parents with a half tank of gas, now, I cannot figure out for the life of me, how the hell I drove 200 km's and burned no gas, seems impossible. When my dad sweetly went to fill my car up the next day, it only took a half tank. Now how the heck can that be?

my online friend who was baptized at 12 years old has finally decided she couldn't make it as a jw anymore.

with 2 dfs and major depression under her belt, no longer will she be living her life for the elders.

until armageddon comes" since she's a goner anyway (serving jehovah with wrong motivation, not out of love).. her father recently died, .

I'm on a bit of a mission

those who don't know my story- was brought up a jw, married young (dumb idea), divorced, kinda fell for the 1st person that came along, that didnt work, now kinda sat pondering where the hell the past decade has gone!

i'm on the hunt for some of my old friends, both people that have had the sense the leave the jw's as well as my old mates from school and college that were good friends- and must of put up with some weird behavior from me (no xmas and birthday cards, no attending of birthday parties etc etc).

i've managed to get into contact with one or 2 which is great, especially one who asked if i was still aa jw , which i was so pleased to be aable to say i wasn't!

Facebook is a great tool for finding old friends, as the poster above mentioned. Mind you, most of the JW friend I had were self righteous idiots, hmm, yeah, not in a hurry to find some of them, even if they have left.

Can the WTBTS be sued for Murder?

the recent success of the lawrence hughes v the wtbts lawyers has opened the possibility of the wtbts actually being sued for second degree murder.. it's a possibility, a slim one but still there.. so, do you believe the wtbts is responsible for giving out misleading information about blood transfusion that has been the cause of death among countless jehovah's witnesses.. i believe that since their inception the wtbts has acted like medical charlatans and if it were possible to count the deaths that ensued they would reach to high heaven.. so what do you think?.

is there the slimmest chance that they may finally be held accountable.. the judge in the bethany hughes case said their advice equaled telling a diabetic not to take insulin or telling a sick person not to take antibiotics and these people then dying.. are the people who matter, doctors, lawyers, judges etc finally waking up to the gigantic injustice that has been going on for far too long now?.
