I can't help but wonder why no one tried to get real help for him a long time ago. I mean a looooooooong time ago
Becasue people are greedy...it always comes down to money. He made great news, he sold tabloids...why would anyone want to cash in their money cow? The people closest to him should feel bad for not helping him in his time of need.

I work in Social Services, and although we may never know what he did when he had young boys in his bed, it was totally unacceptable for him to behave that way. It would have flagged up serious issues. I do not believe he had sexual relations with those boys; MJ strikes me as someone who had little of no sexual desire. He wanted children so badly but couldn't even have sex to produce them, choosing instead to have a donor.
from what I see first hand at work every day, there is so much legislation and paper work that has to be done that there is hardly any time left to go out and actually interact with the families and the children. I used to be one who thought social workers sucked and were only there to take kids away, but that is only a last resort and its a hard f*cking job!
Unfortunately though on the other hand there are loads of social workers who are badly managed and don't know what they are doing. But I think that people forget the social worker can only do so much and are only needed because some parents have no clue about raising children. Instead of blaming social services for the problems with children in care let’s look at the reason why those kids are in care and came to the attention of social services in the first place!!!

I reunited briefly with a "sister" who I knew about 13 years ago via facebook. I was about 16 at the time and she was travelling the UK (From Oz) and needed a place to stay, as per usual the elders in my cong thought the most appropriate person would be my mother (single parent) lets let the nice lady stay rent free for a couple weeks. Anyway, this sister turned out to be ok and I was quite happy to find her on FB. Anyway after a couple hours of chatting and catching up I happened to mention that I no longer attended meetings. She promptly deleted me as a friend from her site. Nice. The thing that got me was that she gave all this spiel about not wanting to associate with me as I had disassociated myself (I hadn’t I just stopped going) and what got me even madder is that she is separated from her husband...when since has separation in the troof been allowed. I was not judging her, or trying to get her to leave I respected that fact that after all these years she still was a believer. But she couldn't respect that i wasn't. It really bothered me. She is such a hypocrite! I was so hurt because I really liked her. Silly cow.
I have no idea why I was surprised by this behaviour; they are all a bunch of hypocrites!

Tomorrow I am having my first borthday party ...I am 29! I am so excited and nervous all at the same time. I don't know what to expect. Admittedly most of the people there will be mutual friends of my brother as I left most of my "friends" when I left the Kingdom hall.
I intend to get very very drunks and dance until my feet are painfully swollen!

single JW's and sex
by Hipraptor ini am if it is the norm, but in my teenage years i must admit, i ahd no problem in going beyond kissing with quite a few jw girls, some even pioneers and talking to some fellow male jw teenagers at the time, many other where for sure going beyond kissing, makes you wonder how many jw's who get married are actually virgins, on a side note i also landed up in front of a committe one time for well bonking and hey i am sure they only do these so that they can here all the nitty gritty of illicit sex for soem reason or another, by the way i pulled the wool over their eyes and still remaind a bit of alad, lol.

I think I only two couples who were still virgins when they married.
I know of "brother" who slept his way around our circuit like it was a sport for years, then confessed got engaged to the prettiest virgin he could find and is now living in marital bliss. Makes me sick...

Special Needs talk at our Hall tonite...
by CaptainSchmideo intalk was about appreciating jehovah's provisions, something like that.... the po gave the talk.
apparently, after the last co visit, our congo got a letter from headquarters, informing us that our numbers are wayyyy down.
several inactive publishers, several more irregular, poor meeting attendance, and our hourly average is less than the national average (8.3 compared to 9.9).

I had to laugh at that one. How about an illustration from the point of view of the workers, who sign up for a job with promises of a fantastic paycheck at the end, complete with a brand new home, perfect health, and eternal life. Except the foreman keeps reporting that the check has been delayed again, and again, and again; who says that we should be grateful we have such a job anyway; that he's surprised that we would be so crass as to hiring on simply for the goal of the paycheck; who keeps "simplifying" the benefits so that whatever the workers used to get, the tools that they use, the conditions they work under, keep getting worse every year; oh, and some overseers from the company have been sexually attacking the children of the workers. Gee, I wonder what the morale, work ethic, and absentee rate would be for a work crew dealing with all this?....
Excellent...so true!
