  i have to confess that i really wasn't.

  it wasn't that i was bad.

  i just didn't do all the things that were expected of me.. i remember being envious of those kids they would interview at meetings and assemblies; the ones who could stand up in front of all their classmates and talk about "the truth".

  holy crap nowman and wobble..you were just like me!....i started my double life in third grade.....mabe first if you count me making christmas wreaths out of coat hangers, plastic bags, and spraypainting them green.......i ALWAYS hid i was a jw.....i guess i never was i did not like not fitting in........

  and keezer....your story made me sad........that feeling of never measuring up sucks.....i felt it more as a dub than at school.......as i LOVED school......i could be myself and forget jw land.......plus i loved the chicks......lol

  also...since my older sis was dfd at 16 as a rebel.....my elder dad decided to be VERY permissive with me...less strict..... and i got to play three sports.....very rare for an elders son......plus i got to go to the prom with my WORLDY GF BABE!!!

  so no....i guess i was not a good witness in school as i never said i was one.....oh...and this was funny.....there was a jw in my homeroom that i did not know was a dub.....nor she me....one girl used to love sitting in my lap and flirt...damm i was lucky........anywho the jw was in the "black" hall on the other side of town.......and there was only one back then.....she visited our "white" hall one time and OMG....when she saw me in the lobby....she yelled out "Good Lord...you are a witness"....i headed for the exit...........oompa

  faders....was it not fun reducing your magazine order over and over?

  as i went out less and less and less.......i loved the look on the bro at the magazine counter when i said i need three fewer or whatever.....after i did this a few times he said "yeah...several others have had to do the same"......and then i noticed that not only did i bring a huge stack of "back issues" into the hall and place them on the counter when nobody was looking......but there was already a pile there......then i just started trashing them........ahhh.......those were they days...............

  i've noticed a few people have gone mia, especially since the website changed or perhaps they have just moved on?.

  people whose posts i used to enjoy: lex talionis, not a prolific poster but interesting all the same.

  octarine prince, lady zombie, galileo, terry.. who do you miss?.

  My Honda won't start!!

  this month is starting out really bad.

  we just bought a 92 honda accord and it was running just fine.

  i get in it yesterday and it won't start.

  i had this same thing happen.......in the main fuse block under the hood just try shoving it or wedging it with something......mine was a short there........we could crank it if we were pushing on the fuse block (black plastic box over the front left wheel well).......we pushed it toward the engine and it would start......finally were wedging a piece of rag or wood against it to keep it running........those were the days......good luck.....oomps

  so be careful.......there may be one out of ten.....or a hundred or a thousand......... and even the unreal one was pretty real....but had major issues..............oomps.
