  i bought a brand new.....unwrapped bimini top for my net boat from habitat for humanity.......it was 280 bucks new......and the sales order was on the bimini!!!!.......they sold it to me for 25 dollars....i do support them a bit and they knew me.....oompa

  that was the best deal percentagewise maybe.....but i bought a used truck worth 35k for 22 once.......that was sweet..........

  i also bought a brick home forclosure once.......that appraised at 187k after a very mild facelift........for 52k......that was nice...........

  it's been reported on this forum that bethel speakers at this summer's conventions are asserting that the establishment of the united nations in 1945 was predicted in advance by the witnesses.

  this is being presented as validation of the claim that the witnesses are god's one true organization directed by holy spirit.. .

  the basis for this claim originates with a public address entitled, peace - can it last given by n.h. knorr at the new world theocratic assembly, on september 20 of 1942. .

  i listened to this recording and wanted to provide a summary of what i have heard......in essence the end is here, keep on the watch, how can we tell the end is here, we tell you so, so keep on the watch....what about those who had incorrect expectations, well they were awake and watching, but mistook some of the signs, but the end is still soooo near.. .

  the speakers pace is sooooo slow, even on the fast speed of playback, it seems to me to be slow.

  he starts with an explanation on how they have a wealth of information available to them, and most of the questions they are answering come from the theocratic library, but one must be willing to do the research (i guess only amongst somewhat current publications, and of course only use the watchtowers information).. .

  1925 and 1975?....crap for 40 years russell taught the end of the world was for sure coming in 1914 and the rapture would occur then.....talk about a big miss......i still find it hard to believe it could have survived after that.......oompa

  simplify your life...that was maybe a good jw idea.......but how??

  once your kids move out.....and you hit midlife crap..........just how much do you or should you do this?.....here in usa......times are pretty awful moneywise/workwise.......i just feel the need to downsize bigtime..........anybody gone supersimple and are now superhappier??........thanks......oompa.

  i`ve been on this board,since before noah built his ark (take note badboy..lol!!

  ).........it`s hard to post publicly,at first..it was for me....eventually you get used to the board and start to speak your mind..that can draw criticisim from a few,or sometimes many posters......personally i could care less..if you don`t agree with me,so what?.............does it bother you,when other posters disagree with you?

  just bot one - tried calls both ways - seems to be excellent voice quality.

  i had to go out of my local prefix and that will cause locals to dial long distance to reach me - but other than that i find few glitches on trial.. i was only paying 30 bucks a month for local/ld with my cable bundle - but if it works well over the next couple weeks i will drop the cable/phone.

  looks like the same technology anyway.. only glitch so far is in switching from one windows user to another - since i installed on my account, i lose dial tone and all when i switch users.
