  Hello everyone, first post.

  hello, i just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here - as i will be posting here.. i grew up a jw and pioneered, was a ministerial servant, ect, i was in the organization for 17 years.

  i left and naturally my family did as they were told and cut off all communication with me.

  this left a horrible taste in my mouth for not just jw's, but any religion for that matter.

  Openly ordaining gays and lesbians is a strange bedfellow. What about pedophiles? Do you openly ordain them too? How about people that think it's ok to steal?

  I for one do not buy it. This is the worst political season EVER!!! Why did it start so crapping early!!! And the war!!!! Back and forth. No it probably does not really matter in the long run who is at the top.

  Wow, what a change, welome Father. Or Fascher, as they say in Goldmember (you will get to know me). I like the differences between your Old Church and the Roman one. You might can help me with this one:

  The desire to serve god eventually overwhealmed me

  Never really felt that, but appreciate creation. Can't really figure out what serving or worshiping God is, or why he would want it.

  i am too tired to find mine right now, but it involves men laying in wait to attack and rape sisters going to dance at a circuit assembly.

  i think the purpose was to find even more wives for the tribe of benjamin.

  great plan god.. ot stuff always weirded me out more than nt stuff, until i found out we have a totally fraudulant nt version, compete with the name jehovah spuriously inserted 237 times, along with many other spurious verses.

  Started a thread and was too tired to get the scripture in. Here it is. Can you imagine taking your daughter to a regular circuit assembly (she was going to serve God!) only to have her 1. kidnapped, 2. violated/raped, 3. forced to marry her captor and bear his children. Interesting that they knew their internal knowledge of planned "festivals of Jehovah" to commit this crime.

  "If you wear Perfume, you might as well be disobeying Jehovah"

  i know this topic has been touched over, but when i heard a cooky witness saying to another witness..."the faithful & discreet slave tells us to quit wearing perfume and cologne to kh meetings, and that's what we're supposed to do, if they tell us.

  we're to obey the fds, and if we wear the perfume we might as well be disobeying jehovah".

  i immediately thought of the conversations on this forum about silly attitudes(the overall issue of obeying the fds on something non-scriptural).

  This horrible sister that was a total hypochondriac started going off on perfume, sitting in the library, going is service with family only. She was full of BS! I would spray or flick cologne on her and just watch the fun, she would accusing everyone around her and it was on her backside lol. I also sprayed the windshield vent on their car for a nice boquet. This witch changed halls, and drove them crazy as well.

  Horrible life--if your town is near any military or government sensitive area it will be intentionly blurred in the closer modes. I see that a lot when looking for water front properties on the east coast. If the propery is even near a coast guard dock it will all be blurred.

  my favorite all time episode is the tennis/j peterman incident where kramer is walking across the tennis court and a racquet goes flying and hits a machine and kramer gets pelleted with tennis balls.

  another really good one is when newman smells kramer basting on the roof and starts seeing him as food.. .
