  New annual report due soon - what do you expect???

  hi folks.

  the annual report will be out in a month or 2 and was wondering what you think the current state of affairs for the org will be.. i am not expecting a decrease - but would love to see one.

  as is normal each year a few countries will be showing a decline.. i know in a few congs near me that quite a number of pubs are going out less - a gradual slow down.

  I expect what you do. I have not looked up the records on this, but noticed in todays WT that it say "we are nearly 7 million" and wonder if that is true. What I really wonder is just how freaking long has it taken to add the last million???? It seems like an freakin long time since we hit 6 million. Does it not seem strange that with over a BILLION hours spent driving and in donut stores each year, we cant add 1mil?

  !.....so many ideas.so many personalities.so much exchange of knowledge and ideas.right here on jwd!.....this thread was inspired by another thread..thank-you "hidden window"!.....i hope this thread inspires other "ideas",just like i was inspired by another thread......................many of us want to show our loved ones and the rest of the world,the "real wbt$".....we want to get our loved ones out of a "cult"..and..the international political world will bring the wbt$ down,when they can no longer disguise themselves as a religion.....the wbt$ is a political organization,disguised as a religious organization seeking "world domination"!.....most of us are not ready to take on a billion dollar organization,the wbt$.....we only want our families back!.....not all jw`s are ready to read ray franz`s:"crisis of conscience"..or..barbera andersons new cd:"secrets of pedophilia in an american religion.jehovah`s witness`s in crisis"..but..some are!

  Good thoughts Outlaw. I first went to a Barnes an Nobles to read some former JW info. I have not found any of these specific books at boodstore either though. Anyone know how or how well are they being distributed?

  i was just counting, and i've read 16 books over the last three months, not counting text books.

  average length is 550 to 600 pages, which means i've read 8800 to 9600 pages this summer, plus another 1000 or so of textbooks, plus all the online bs i read.

  think i'm going to wear my eyes out?

  Hanging out with JWs after you no longer believe

  it's starting to become harder and harder to hang out with witnesses.

  all their talk about how evil the world is, etc.

  i was at a gathering last night, and this older couple was their talking about how their granddaughter came back because she got a taste of how the world was, her so-called friends were freeloading off her and stealing her stuff.

  B-D I am in the about the same phase of fade and mindset. I just did a post on do we really even need our old JW friends. Since that is the main thing we had in common, it does make for some boring and uncomfortable time with them, even those we used to be close to. I just dont fit in anymore.

  I am having trouble understanding why you or most others would feel the need to DA? Why face ANY consequences when you dont have to? If you just totally SLACK OUT, almost no consequences, esp. family contact. If you DA...JW INDUCED/ENFORCED consequences. They have altered/screwed/interfered with my life enough, so I don't think I want more if I can avoid it.

  when did "new light" teaching start. What goof was covered?What a CYA idea!

  i am so sick of jw's thinking all past errors (false teaching) are no big deal cause we have "new "light " on the matter now.

  recently even my elder/dad said he wonded at times if some of our past teachings that did not pan out could be considered "false teaching!!!

  " i got excited and instead of saying "duhhh", just said it seemed like it could be, and that is how/why we examine the pasts of other religions as well.

  I had never really thought of myself as God at all. But upon reflection, deep thought, and prayerful meditation, I realize that in this one particular position with my wife in bed, she often starts yelling "GOD GOD OH MY GOD."

  so i guess i am God, at least in THAT sense.....oompa

  i am proposing that you join me in doing the following: on sunday, october 14, 2007, i will attend that days meeting at my local kingdom hall and take the opportunity to secretly leave there the book crisis of conscience, by raymond franz.

  i will just place it where it could be found; i will maybe leave it on a seat or under it.
