because i was class president, i've been responsible for throwing all the reunions we've held.
while i come to michigan on business a few times per year, i don't usually make it all the way up to the little, northeast, lake huron tourist town where they live.

Confession............you are very special type of person/exdub!............and that story is so sad and funny.......and nukkin futs!!!!!..........i am talkin insane here..........i could see you and your friends and all talkin about this event.....and your folks prob cryin seein you at the walk....but knowing they were "doing the right thing because they really love you".......
how many years have you been out?....prob a long time, so why fluck do they not see that shunning is ineffective in your case?.........that is supposed to be the reasoning..........that you will "come back" due to it...........it seems like after decades or whatever you could say "obviously it aint gonna work"...........and end it
this just never seems to end for some of us.....my dfd son may get married someday........of course my folks and most of my family will not go...and none of his old friends.........he is only 23 and out for 6 years...........that is just..................oomps

Typically How Much $$$ Do You Spend Going Out To Eat Each Week?
by minimus ini don't cook so i usually eat one meal a day out.
i pobably spend a couple of hundred a week with food an d drink.

i only spend about 10-15 bucks on lunch a week, and when my wife works the day of a meeting night, i like to get some great Chinese takeout or a pizza from a great place nearby as well so we neither have to cook, so that would up it another 10-12 dollars..........
for the most part....i HATE to eat out!!!!.........almost ALWAYS disappointed!!!......plus i LOVE to cook....this is not bragging but will sure as hell sound like it, but it is just a fact.......there are several here who i have cooked for and i have ALWAYS got an OMG!!!! this is the best steak/salmon/chicken/shrimp/potato/grilled veggies/boston butt/pork tenderloin/lambchops i have ever tasted!!!! (i also do a mean stir fry of all types and have guacamole sauce to die for, as well as freschetta (there is not such thing as too much garlic) on perfect crusty french bread in real just filed parmesan
i like my food served HOT....really hot and on a hot plate!.....and i want at least warm bread (and it better not be soft and mushy...give me a crust) and SOFT REAL BUTTER!!!
however...i eat out lunch a lot on the road and am a cheap bastard....i like the half pound beef and potato burrito from taco for $1.79 with free ice water...........that hits the spot for less than two bucks
and sometimes maybe one or two micky dees double cheese burgers with water..........also about 2 bucks.........
i splurge with the hardees or carl juniors angus burgers!.........almost like homemade for about three bucks.....mickys and others suck by comparison......
my worst example of awful night out was at Ruth Chris steakhouse........first time eating there and was really lookin forward to it......and my bad night had to be a fluke!!.....it was a treat from another couple so i did not complain, but DAMMM...........my rib-eye was $36.00 and TOTALLY sucked!!!......this cow was NOT PRIME!!!......(this does happen sometimes).....i could not frikkin believe it.........gristle, fat galore, and tough as a bad SELECT grade!!!....everybody else had great food so i will go back for their new special meal deal.......it was a great deal for this place.......
lol.........sorry for the length but i take good food VERY SERIOUS!!!....oompa

i dont know any of these guys in brooklyn who issue these refinements they claim are from god.....i would believe it maybe if i got to know them, but i doubt it....there have been many, many groups over the centuries who make the exact claim of the GB and i think most were nuts or cults.....they are gone now............
many times in the bible god made very sure people knew who was running things............he spoke from the heavens in the NT, and i really like that fire that burned up the watered down sacrifice in the OT.......NOW THAT would get my attention and prob faith
even if there could just be some kinda shekinah light over bethel when a refinement comes along...........that may work...........oompa

as a sidenote, in genesis 21....abraham threw isaac a party on the day he was weaned.
check out the history on that and find out what other religions believe about that (i checked out the jewish & baptist websites).

homeschool....i watched the video....but with my quirky and offbeat sense of humor.....i only found it as funny as the bible account itself, since it was pretty dead on..........but damm.........it left out the incest!!.......
and instead of using those thin pages as tp, i saw a western once and when ever the guy wanted a smoke, he read a page and then rolled one........i always like that idea

Homeschool....you can really speed up reading the bible cover to cover......
1. go to the middle of psalms....
2. fold the bible completely backwards until both covers touch and are flat against each other
3. slowly open the bible now.........and read aloud the words within............"New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures".......now you are done.........oompa

i aggree willyman...purps said it all very well.......my question in my subject line is in error....it should have been more about easier to leave "mentally".....us born in or converted............ we born in, in general have VERY much more to lose if our family and friends are all IN.....but that also is in GENERAL..........as we can see from purps post..........i think for any who found it EASY to leave.......you are the minority, but i wish there were a lot more of us like you.......oompa

Car Group -- Dressed up.
