My first 'drag race'...

this is a follow-up story, i suppose to my other one about being challenged to a drag race over this past weekend.. first of all, let me say that i've never felt the need to race anyone in a car.

i think it is very dangerous - especially since you never know what or when a car is likely to do - like blow a tire or whatever.

so - to those who are thinking of chastizing me for my antics... lighten up.

back in th 60's i was racing from light to light on commonwealth road in fullerton calif with another fella----we stopped at the main intersection downtown for a red lite --- before it turned green i held my brakes and revved the engine----making the car raise up like i was taking off --- the other guy was not watching the lite and floored his car ---- he went through the intersection nearly crashing into ongoing traffic --- i never pulled that stunt again--lucky i didnt cause someone to be killed

Whats the funniest thing you've ever seen happen in the KH?

i remember being a kid and we didnt have the fancy fabric seats, they were plastic stackable chairs all set out in the usual lines.. an elderly bro, rather rotund, farted, the noise so loud and thundering against the plastic seat!

or the time when i must have been about 7, my dad brought his bible study family to their first ever meeting, i had to sit on mums knee.

i recall giving the daughter of the new family a very vigorous v sign during the meeting.

a young, at the time, elder named Brade Day gave a talk at the westville oklahoma hall where he made the comment from the platform "a woman likes it when you call her a pussy but hates it when you call her a cat" the audience began laughing --- when he came off the stage he asked me "what did i say" i told him you meant kitten but said pussy

one little teen age sister, at the dinner table, remarked (while the discussion was about cats in general) "a little pussy never hurt anybody" her elder father nearly choked on his mouthful of food

by that i mean property, or money in excess of let's say $10 000. .

enriching an already very rich organisation has to be moronic, they are the ones that should be helping the poor among them the proverbial orphans and widows.

An ode to elder bob

elder bob is one of the meanest snakes i ever ran across ---- i guess it would cause this site problems if i told you where he is a hitman elder in northwest arkansas ----- hmmmm elder bob the hitman and james t in the same post --------last time i talked to him i took him outside and informed him that he is the poorest excuse for both a human and an elder.

the idiot even gave the kids the emblems to eat and drink as soon as the memorial was over one nite.

How long will you be limping upon two different opinions? I told dear Pastor Russell that I shall resurrect the men of Sodom.

Then you saw fit to claim new light and proclaim that I shall not restore them to life. I could learn to live with that because I did not really like the bastards of Sodom anyway.

Then you changed your view back to what I had told my “faithful and discreet slave” Russell. You again claimed new light and proved scripturally that I will resurrect the Sodomites.

Then you had the audacity to change back, once again, to my planning on giving them no resurrection. I am the Ancient of Days but you are making me appear to be senile. You portray me as an old fool who cannot make up his mind one way or the other pertaining to this matter. The ruse about me having to go to the privy and take a leak will not work in this case.

Please cease and desist from making me appear foolish!

Also, if you wish to join groups such as the United Nations, please be more circumspect and don’t leave such wide paper trails.

In all seriousness ---- I really do want to know what part of the letter is taboo ---- Because I am just as adept as the WTBTS of rewriting God's words for him. I will edit His letter to suit the needs of this board if only I can find out which path to follow
