Thank You for you ever enlightening break down of this 'spiritual food'.
It still amazes me how the average reader would miss the true definitions of some of their phrases. Until next week...

New Study Book???
by cinnamon1642 inbased on the glimpses of the new book "keep yourselves in god's love" i could forsee them suggesting that this be a 2nd study book with someone before they are baptized.
they will likely keep using "what does the bible really teach?
" as the 1st book, but that book ends with a chapter entitled "remain in god's love".

Christians - What do you believe about Armageddon?
by JayBird ini've always wondered what mainstream christianity's viewpoint is in regards to armageddon.
i understand there's no timetable.
but that sense of urgency that exists with jws doesn't seem to be there either.

Do you expect it to happen sooner rather than later? ----I Don't have an expectation of sooner or later simply eventually----- Who will be destroyed?-----?This question is for those who believe in annihilation maybe----And how will they be destroyed?----same here---- Do you believe that the entire human race will be divided by their destination of heaven and hell?----don't know for sure----- Will the universe, including planet Earth, remain intact for all eternity?----not sure I care or if it is spiritually or physically--- If so, WHY?---- Or am I totally off the mark and asking the wrong set of questions?----I think that it more important to focus on my life here and leave the details of judgment and afterlife to the ones who are responsible for them =) but then again that's just me =P---I'm pretty sure I'm not mainstream anything----------- PS (I use firefox and it won't let me use spaces and returns in my formatting anyone know why)------studier

is anyone planning a garden this year?
by chickpea ini have swung with the pendulum on this endeavour over the years.... my best year ever i had 32 different food "crops" but as more kids arrived and the deer population encoached on "my" encroachment, i let it disappear from the " to do " list".
this year, i am determined to get back at it full force...... with modifications to accomodate my "older" knees and the still encroaching deer, using the "square foot gardening" approach as well as container gardening on the deck..... anyone here have experience with either?.
having just finished a nutrition course and dealing with the rising costs of fresh food ( that is not over salted or corn syrup sweetened), i really feel an urgency to try to supplement what is available .

This will be my third year with a large food-type garden. I grew up in house with over 200 potted plants though and learned many wonderful things. Make sure whatever you pot-grow has plenty of root space, drainage (for those torrential down pours) and keep them watered in the heat and all should be fine. We live in town so I don't think my neighbors would appreciate it but potatoes can be planted and then old tires added around the base (added one at a time with soil -- til about five high) and when it's time for harvesting...simply remove the tires and NO DIGGING THEM UP!!!!
