i've been experimenting with the 2007 release "come be my follower" that was posted here a while ago.. i have shrunk it down to 3mb by producing an "ocr and graphics" version - good for anyone on "dialup".. .

i came here expecting to find a range of jw's and check out their beliefs and thinking.

however, what i find is largely disaffected or ex jw's and atheists etc.

with hindsight i am not that surprised either!

ok, so you can stop hijacking a beautiful thread on love, post your judgements here for everyone to read:here is one:adam & eve chose to sin and go against god's command-all they had to do was not eat from the fruit of two trees but they couldn't manage that.

similarly, we have all chosen to sin as well.

no-one holds a gun at our heads.. first of all, you are incorrect.

or hypocrites and liars who are successful at covering up their sins and crimes to those who follow and look to them for guidance?.

what happens if satan is forgiven..who will everyone blame for their problems and shortcomings then?

We are free to love

what i have noticed since pulling away from group thinking, mindsets, rules and superstitions, that i am open to a broader range of loving people.. i am not sure i can blame all this on the jw expericance.

as children we are taught from our tribe, (family and enviroment, church, school, extended family, neighborhood..........who to love and who not to love.

i used to believe as the witnesses taught, you have to "beat" the evil out of children.. have you ever watched a group of small children unattended?

so i had a thought today, that may spark some interesting conversation......

if you were able to die.....totally, and utterly dead.and see what there really is for your own eyes/soul after death......not what the bible says, not what your mom, dad, preacher, rabbi,faithful and discreet slave, conscience ...whatever says will happen....but what really happens......( who can say for sure they know by the way), and then somehow you were brought back,

would you live your life differently?

okay, i'm interested in what everybody thinks on this.

i believe that for the most parts all religions start off with a good motive, i.e., to provide a forum that will help people to serve god.

(basically).
