if they are then it follows that their vocabularies and writing styles may be similar; if one is a journalist (even part-time) perhaps the other is as well.. it could be that one is visiting the other; carlhernz said that blakeseeley was in florida at present but would be returning to texas soon.. why not step back, take a few deep breaths...and unlock that thread?.

Who knew? That wasn't public information at the time of my writing.

To Simon, a simple if then statement:

The combination of technical things not making sense PLUS a story with more holes in it than an episode of Dallas and requests for people to send personal information = someone up to no good.

If this is the case then it really is the end of the story.

mrs. russell was a director of the society and served as its secretary and treasurer for some years.

[yearbook, 1975, p. 66) according to its charter, "the purpose for which the corporation is formed is, the dissemination of bible truths in various languages by means of the publication of tracts, pamphlets, papers and other religious documents and by the use of all other lawful means which its board of directors, duly constituted, shall deem expedient for the furtherance of the purpose stated.

What I found interesting is that over the last few years it seems the WTS has worked to separate themselves from the preaching work

In the late '80's there were two talks given at a District Convention outlining the difference between the WT and the GB. The talks covered the probability that the WT (the corporation) would be shut down by "Caesar" and how important it was to note that the GB could not be shut down, they would always be there for Jehovah's people.

It makes sense that they would work to separate the two, i.e., removing GB members from corporate positions.

Is this what you had in mind?

Wrongful disfellowshipping is what I wrote...

Perhaps Blake and Carl are at a conference? Are staying in the same hotel, perhaps in the same suite, thus possibly sharing an IP or even a computer?

Being deleted off an internet site for breaking the site rules is nothing like being disfellowshipped.

But "wrongful" deleting would be, eh? My concern is centered around "wrongful".

okay, i am not a scifi guy but i was watching bill o'reilly's interveiw with shirley maclane and i found out that she believes in ufo's, aliens, etc.. so it occured to me that should an alien or ufo show up how will the society handle that?

The problem is that these two posters are denying they know each other or that one if visiting the other and that one is in Texas while the other is in Florida.

On http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/6.ashx CarlHernz states: " I do know him " and " He’s in my neck of the woods right now (Florida), but I think he will be back in Texas in a day or so." That could easily account for the same IP.

On http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/7.ashx CarlHernz states " I’m not Blake Seeley. "

BlakeSeeley never states whether he knows or doesn't know CarlHernz, BlakeSeeley is off the thread by then and apparently has left JWD (See http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/6.ashx, erynw's 1008th post).

On http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/7.ashx (CarlHernz, post 4) CarlHernz says "I can prove I'm not him." In post 5 he states that he (CarlHernz is in Florida and that BlakeSeeley is from Texas, not that he is IN Texas at the present time.

I don't see denial or lying here.

Another step would be to research and decide whether "bible" is synonymous with "scripture" (as in "all scripture is inspired...").
