  hopfully many of the older ones do.

  since our move to wild's of pa many things have happen to my wife and i. our donut business went out the window.

  we closed it last july.

  I am miserable...am I crazy?

  as a born in jw my outlet was always music.

  my parents let me do piano lessons (from another sister) and when i was 14 i lobbied hard enough for a guitar.

  i formed a decent punk/emo type in high school behind my parents back.

  There are a lot of people in your situation. Try keeping your job (even though you hate it) until you can sell the agency. Buy a guitar as soon as you can afford one (and not a real cheap one; they sound horrible!), then play at open mics in the evenings for your own enjoyment and to build your name. After a year or so, evaluate your options once again.

  One step at a time gets you to where you want to be. Leaping without a landing place only brings trouble.

  why do I write?

  i must admit, i feel rather like winston smith from orwell's 1984. i sit here in front of the image of a blank piece of paper on my computer screen.

  i am alone in my study, alone, but like winston, i am hesitant to write on this blank piece of paper, fearful that i am under the watchful eye of the telescreen.

  it is a form of paranoia, i guess, a paranoia that is synonymous with being in the organization; an organization that worries more about perception than substance.

  NEW NWT'S Distributed at 2013 Conventions?

  chatter on the street is that there exists a very high possiblility of the new newworld translation being distributed.

  it comes from a reliable sources, but who knows.

  has anyone heard anything about this?.

  If there is a new Bible, they will have one to show from the platform, then say they'll be taking orders for it at the KH and to watch for the shipping annoucement in the KM. They're not going to hand out tens of thousands of copies on a donation basis, especially when they can get top dollar by leaning on the publishers when they try to place an order.

  lane, a psychology professor at northeastern university, has been studying deaf culture and linguistics since the 1970s, ever since he witnessed a deaf duo conversing and was stunned to learn of the depth and complexity of asl.

  well, i finally found him on facebook!.

  his name is tollie padgett.

  he was my congregation overseer (before the "elder" changeover) when i was in prison in seagoville in the late 60's.. i've been searching for him for years and years.

  i am the disowned child of two jehovahs witnesses.

  My wife just told me to move out...

  because of "religious" differences, she now wants me to move out and "separate"...i said what biblical grounds does she have for her request?.

  she couldnt respond...she said she'd rather be beaten up by me than have an "apostate" in the house.... this org definitely encourages conditional love.... i don't know what to do...by the way, we dont have children.

  Not even bothering to read the other responses; this is the straight answer for how to handle your situation:

  Tell your wife you aren't going anywhere, that if anyone is leaving it is going to have to be her since leaving is her idea. Then drop it. Go about your business and let her deal with her thoughts.
