Isn't that what's called a false dilemma?
Perhaps "sin" is a "human" concept thus not applicable to "God."
reading this and it made me think, god cannot do everything.
god is holy and he cannot.
sin.

i was recently told by an american i was chatting to online that in the usa people are not allowed to grow their own food.
she said that if you have a vegetable patch or something that the government will come along and bulldoze it?
she said that farmers are not allowed to grow food either and that the government bulldozes the crops if they grow?.
In some areas Americans are not allowed to grow anything but flowers and shrubs on the front of the property (the side facing the road), if they do some municipalities will remove the objectionable plantings, usually vegetables. This is changing in some places where public opinion is with the gardener.
There are, or were, Federal government programs which paid farmers not to grow certain crops in order to keep the economy balanced according to plan. There have been cases where the government came in and destroyed crops but it's not common.
so i am having a bit of an issue at work and has been bothering me for a while.
first, you may need to know a bit about the organizational structure that i am dealing with.
there is our coo (chief op officer).
tell me i'm not overly thinking this.. i'm 39 years old...still youngish...but i worry about getting old.
i look in the mirror and it depresses me.
i suppose i still cling to watchtower utopia when no one would age over 25.. i used to look forward to paradise earth because it meant all the evil in the world, nuclear warfare, terrorist attacks and sickos would be no more, but we are deep in the 21st century with no end in sight.. appreciate your comments.
warning for those that are still believers... this train of thought will not be faith strengthening.... i have come a long way since first stumbling on crumbs of ttatt in 2012.
(i have not come nearly as far with the wife unfortunately, but such is life.
) my critical thinking ability, thankfully, is in another stratosphere since figuring out i was a jw lab rat.
bethelite asked splane since mt 25 is set in the great trib because half way through mt 24 events turn to the great trib, does that not mean the generation starts when the great tribulation starts and has nothing to do with 1914. splane replied the bible writers were not logical they would pick a topic then randomly go back to another topic.
l know l would.anyone that says no is kidding themselves.just imagine going up to the hole of a cobra and patting it on the head like a pet.or running like a deer through the woods.who knows we might grows wings and be able to fly as well.food for thought.
C'mon, you guys! The OP didn't condition or precondition the question. No WT, no doctrine, no fables, just 'if it's real would you like to live there'...
Sure I would! Why not? Who wouldn't want to live in idyllic conditions?
Nothing more is being asked, so no underlying assumptions are warranted.
Don't read into the question more than is written, ok? OK.
l have a problem with this.lf adam and eve didnt sin the earth would eventually have been full to the brim with perfect human beings.then what every man gets the chop or no more sex?then on the other hand we have the jw's sayingresurrected ones will not be allowed to marry in the earthly new system.. married survivors of armageddon will remain married.
single survivors of armageddon may or may not be allowed to marry.so it seems that people reborn into new system wont be able to procreate.
and married survivors will stay married so l assume that means they can still hanky panky and have babys thats a bit unfair..the earth can only accommodate a maximum number of humans then what for the married couples.
Atomant: Why do you even worry about it? Have they been there? Can they (the WT/JW's) show any evidence that it's true? Are there any "scriptures" that directly state these teachings?
Let it go. If it's false you'll find out when the time is right; if it's true there's nothing you can do about it.
Go out and garden or something.

(i never was a dub).. this is something which has intrigued me for a while.
i don't know whether it's dub-speak, or us-speak.. it's the use of the word 'ones' as in 'interested ones', 'worldly ones', 'disfellowshipped ones' and so on and so on.. in the 'normal world' we would probably use the word 'people'.. thoughts?.
In the 'normal world' we would probably use the word 'people'.
That's just the point, "Ones" is used to distance the speaker/listeners from the humanity of the persons being discussed. No "he", no "she", no "they"; only an unthinking, unfeeling, less than human "something" that the God-chosen dubbies are forced to deal with...so let it be at arm's length and best dealt with as an object.
Google the phrase "one is glad to be of service" or watch the movie "Bicentennial Man" for a deeper understanding.
this is not intended to be a highbrow discussion!.
you ( ought ) to pay me back that $100.
.. bank loan.
Let me Google that for you....
