Our area allows for 5 over but 6 and you getting pulled over .......only exception is school zones....anything more than 1 mile over and you are ticketed

I proudly flash my lights!
I heard of some boys who had signs that also alerted thankful motorist that donations were welcomed!
Boys got busted hard too....
My county officers also park empty cars to slow traffic out on long stretches of road between counties/towns
H-town PD being petty lil byotches...

The "Secrecy Policy
by Celestial ini've given this recent lawsuit quite a bit of thought and come to sound conclusions.
after examining other organization's child-protection policies (namely churches), what i've come to realize is there's a one-size fits all solution that's socially acceptable; all information obtained through witnesses and confessions by organizational personnel is be used to aid and abet law-enforcement.
there's no in-between or anything short of this objective that's socially acceptable.

How many ex-jws poster here now believe in Hellfire, immortality of soul, trinity, etc;
by booker-t ini am just curious about this because although i agree with many of the posters here that the wt society is guilty of many horrible deeds, i still believe they are right when it comes to doctrinal things as i mention.
especially hellfire.
i just don't see how anybody that has studied the bible for many years like many of the ex-jws here can make an about face and go back to believing hellfire.

I just read that Chapa is able to communicate with the police!
Would have hated this to turn into a version of the Adrianne Jones case where it takes years to crack due to the higher level of social interaction of teenagers.

by tec in... how truly great this place is.. i have not been on many forums, but i think this one is unique and strong in a very important way.
it is of course a support group for those exiting the wts, or trying to deal with remaining within it, first and foremost.
but the awesome thing about this place is how it welcomes everyone.

Look for ways to do good....
Give encouragement and validation of things not endoresed by the WTS but the Bro/Sis desire.....
Help the elderly in your congregation....organize youths to spend time doing lawn care or washing cars for them....(keeps them out of service but still seeing value in assisting those in need)
This too shall pass, feeling overwhelmed at times is inescapabe.....
Keep building a stable bridge of support for you will need it later.....
