  just wanted to inform you all of a children's movie that is coming out in december, during the christmas season, which is entitled "the golden compass".

  the film stars nicole kidman and is based on the first of a trilogy of books for children called "his dark materials" written by phillip pullman of england .

  Just FYI,

  This more or less is being circulated through out the "Christian" world. I have about 20 different emails in my inbox about the movie, from various friends from other denominations.

  We only have one theatre in my town and the manager isn't planning on holding any showings. So I guess in some cases this boycott is having an effect.

  But you know what they say in Showbiz, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

  View away, they rode the beast, and got drunk. Liked the "spirits" so much that they are riding other beasts as NGOs as we speak.

  As you probably already know, no one really publically speaks about the UN thing, many still really don't know about it.

  Seeing how Teddy himself has been accused, I doubt there will be any real changes. Maybe when dies and the legal department/ accounting department can weigh in on the matter, and get the newbie-GBs to mandate an automatic reporting.

  Here is another thought too, they claim we don't have a clergy class, yet all baptized are to be considered "ordained ministers". LIARS LIARS LIARS

  Book of Matthew

  here's a question that came up in a bible study... why would matthew include a lineage at the very begining of his book?.

  My understanding is because Matthew was written to the Jews, and the lineage is showing proof that Jesus and David are the same line, as fortold the Messiah would come from.

  Why does the WT society not open its own non blood hospitals?

  why does the watch tower society not build and operate its own hospitals for its people who refuse to have blood in their treatment programme?.

  surely, if bloodless surgery and treatment is so superior and they could prove it with their own statistics and survival rates they could show that blood should not be used.. so, what are they afraid of?.

  I think he did the right thing.

  DeAnna would have quit her job and moved to Austin, and ultimately the relationship wouldn't have lasted very long. What he said last night to her made a lot of sense, he is not in love with her, yea there are feelings after being together in the show, but not enough to make a real relationship work in the real world.

  Again, what woman wants a boyfriend/husband who has to be at work at 2-3 am in the morning.

  On another note....wasn't baby Max so cute!

  Depends on how you look at it. His bars have generated more "interest" and girls in Austin are gaga over him as a result of him participating on the bachelor.

  Besides dating/ marrying barmen is a hard life. I wouldn't wish that on any girl.

  this is probably a bit of history some of you know, maybe some of you don't.

  in the early 1800's there was a shawnee native american chief named tecumseh who was trying to make an effort to unify all the other native american tribes together against the invasion of the newly formed american government.

  tecumseh was known as a brave, highly skilled communicator, and a good man wanting to share the land in peace with the new american government, but finding he wasn't getting much cooperation from them .
