  i thought it would be interesting to see just how many people have climbed aboard jwd within the last 6 months.

  it will give us an indication on how many people are actually coming away from the borg.. i may not be replying all the time but will pop in every day of so.. lets keep this thread going and use it to welcome new ones.

  truly a mind controlled cult!

  recently sent a msg to several entities about the nbc article on jdub's spending monies to quiet those who have been molested, ( this makes me very sad) and one responded not much at all, and one has cut me and my family off from them and their family, they can't handle the truth about some in the cult to my thinking.

  this has made my spouse very sad, as my spouse likes them very very much!.

  my spouse would be very mad at me for sending them the article which just shows you how much my spouse is controlled by the fds, and not common sense.

  You sent them the truth about the guilt of the WT so have nothing to feel guilty about. So try to hang on to that fact with hubby. If we don't tell them these things then how will they ever have a chance of getting out of the cult. Knowledge is power thats why the WT don't want us to have it. Well done

  folks, surly one of you can tell me what the scriptual reasons the jws have that only the so called "annointed" should partake of the evening meal as the laughable jws call it?

  The scriptures, as far as my new understanding goes, invites all Christians to take the bread and wine. The JW's are the only ones that make a distinction in the annointed being the "little flock" and privileged to do this. In other words they shut most of us out of a covenant with Christ and say that he isn't our mediator.

  if you're here, it's likely you were once fooled by what the jws believe.. back then, i expect you thought you were smart.

  you thought you could tell if you were being lied to.

  yet, they got past your mental defenses and sucked you in.. knowing this, how can you be sure your current religious beliefs are true?.

  Being a believing JW and then finding out it is a cult has left me doubting my own judgement. I am wary of getting taken in again and making the same mistake as I did when becoming a JW. There is a difference in having a belief without fear of recrimination if that belief changes though.

  happy birthday tj - iamcleared2land.

  here is a link to his story, http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/150796/1.ashx one of the most heart wrenching i have heard in my entire life.. jwd has his birthday showing as today, january 20th, however it is really tuesday, january 22nd.

  also, for those who have read his thread (and if you havent, i highly encourage that you do) his sister's birthday is monday, january 21st...tomorrow!

  has anybody still got copies of the old "truth" book, the "live forever " book, and "bible teach" book?.

  i threw them out, and regret it now because a sudden chilling realization came to me posting on another thread:.

  do you remember how in the 70s we were told to encourage the new study to compare what the nwt says with what is in his own bible?

  looloo - Its just an unnatural and cruel situation that my heart goes out to you and everyone in this situation. I may be in the situation where I am not allowed to see my grand child and I dread it. I suppose the kindest thing for the children is to be honest with them when they understand, but that it doesn't mean their grand parents don't love them.
