What did you not like about the paradise?
by reneeisorym ini have always loved it when the seasons changes.
i was always told that we would have temerate weather all of the time and the seasons wouldn't chage.
i always thought i would miss the changing leaves, budding flowers after it has been so cold, and the snow.

Why am I still fearful?!
by Maddie ini've really been trying to put it out of my mind because i don't want to have these fears, but they wont go away!!.
i really thought that my mind was free from the mind control of the borg but i don't think it can be completely.
ever since reading the postings about all the changes they are going to make i feel panicky and i think it is because they can still get to me.. i don't want to feel like this and i am fighting against it but i am finding it is getting to me.. does anyone else on jwd have any of these fears still?.

Maddie your fear is a result of a trauma it isnt a shortcoming , You are free Jws dont firebomb houses or shoot people ( I think so lol!)
Unlearning and unknowing brings peace, The ego wants to maintain center stage and will do so at any cost to you. ie: fear and paranoia
Cults need a lot of work to pull from your mind and ego likes to keep what gives it power over your emotions. Your spirit knows the truth if only you believe what is inside you.
Dont fear maddie you gonna be ok. Look within

I want to thank all the responses and I would also like to thank someone in particular for showing a path that was forgotten As the man said" you created me to remind you of this "
Most definitly true spirtuality is found within yourself thats where its all at.
I see a path before me I can follow without fear and confusion stalking every step and the feverish casting about for answers has abated . Thank you

Funny things you used to believe
by 5thGeneration inone of my classics was because the bethel printing room was so clean then it must be jehovah's organization.. now i realize, of course, that most businesses keep their operations equally clean.. doh!.

<5go> I feel your vehemence is misplaced . I do not seek a religion to belong to . I really seek new ways to understand my condition as a WHOLE being and where I might be in the scheme of things.
Most of my time is taken up by work family and play . I like to cook and eat lol . I want input from as many peolpe as possible about as many paths to enlightenment as possible because it brings me great pleasure to seek the divine nature of humanity.
I feel like a lost child in the midst of the unknown and it feels good for the most part. I seek for seekings sake not in the futile hope that I will find an answer LOL! The answer is the seeking not the finding . I just want other places to seek

Thank you baba that was really nice to see . The gentle respect and love expressed was refreshing . Sometimes my own cynycism holds me back and I can't feel the love in our purpose. Reading that was good it reafirmed for me that people somewhere use the grey stuff like they should

<poppers >that is really what I am strugling with "what am I?" Nothing I seek satisfies. No books no inner journeys .I think maybe I need some advice from a truly enlightened person on seeking the true self thank you
