Why do proponents of a religion become fixated on a date ?

What meaning can one obtain from information that is beyond an individuals experience?

How does an uncertain belief like unprovable dates bring a satisfying and fullfilling answer?

If you have an answer founded on ideals outside your own experience , you will still have questions , if you buy someone elses answer , it will be ill fitting and you will still have questions.

Starting at the point where we all have a common experience and completely understanding what is real about this existence, is a really good starting point in a life that is worth living .

Running after the belief your neighbor sold you and doing your best to put it on and own it , meh , that sucks ass!

how is the WT a "literature selling scam"?

i have heard several people refer to the society as publishing company in the business.

of selling books and magazines.. i just don't see how this view can be valid considering that i almost never see.

any "voluntary contributions" come in from the door-to-door work.

it was october 31, 1973 james olson jumped out of building 4 at brooklyn bethel.. i along with many others back there...help kill him.

i'm not proud of it....i was part of the problem...the lack of love as it were.

drop in two scoops of good vanilla ice cream and pour in a well chilled, quality brand of root beer and fill to the top.

i think evolution is pretty sound sans the fact that they haven't answered the question of how life began.

The force of creation gave us life ,this life , very simple . We are here , Ergo a force caused us to be . That force is God ,whatever that is.

The truth isn't about feeling good or being asured, it's about being liberated and experiencing personal responsibility for our actions and not being given a purpose other than the one the creator put in us

The people who convince us that God answers a prayer are the ones who sold us out and took God from us in the first place.

A prayer heard by the force of creation?

A desire to improve oneself into a more altruistic state with the aid of this creative force might get you somewhere , but to pray for an end to suffering?

Our greatest blessing is the suffering which directs us to change.

That dagnab "moment of silence" takin away my civl liberties and forcing me to close my pie hole before I start my day ,tarnation ,I remeber when thar wernt no scoools at all , and we liked it! HAD to walk two miles in the freezin sleet uphill both ways! We dint have no moment then and we liked it!

Now mr. fancy pants laywer says we gotta have a goldurn "moment of silence" and we liked it!
