just got off phone with newly appointed elder friend.

at the end of the conversation, he says, "you know dagney, we need to have the conversation...the one about meetings...i want to see you in the new system....i think about you every day, everyday!!".

i was all cheerful "sure!!!

NEW USE FOR THE WATCHTOWER!!!

in the mail today i received 5 solicitations for a new credit cards.

i saw them as a plea for guidance from god.

so i rounded up all my old watchtowers and placed them in theprovided postage paid envelopes, hoping that the credit card company employees would find direction within their pages.. i encourage everyone to spread jehovah's word, using the same postage paid envelopes.

TV is like a prostitute, not real apealing.

Internet is a bit more like an atractive person with whom you share common interests.

I despise television and it's constant assault on intelligence and excellence , it's constant direction of conformity and suplication to the purile gods of base desire.

It's mostly boring and useless.

I am amazed at the tenacity of a fool to cling to such garbage. He (the JW )conflicted so many times with himself , I'm sure if he read the transcript and seperated his ego from his beliefs he could see what a dolt he was.

That is so frustrating to read , that ignorance and stupidity, bleh , I'm glad my mind works.

why care about spiritual things?

i see most of all of you speak in different opinions of what is or may be true spiritual things (while a few ar just freezing cold or dead spiritualy), but i ask all of you, why even bother to care or pretend to care of spiritual things?.

"Evil" lies within an individual and can only be "defeated" by the individual that possesses "evil"

What is your definition if evil?

Mine is "a selfish desire to impose ones will upon another , to satisfy a transient need"

Combating evil is done within an individual when the suffering one experiences proves the falacy of an ego driven existence.

Only thing we can affect a change on is ourselves , only children believe they can change other individuals .

Question about a WT song....

just thinking about a song that we used to sing at the kh....cannot remember the name of the song, but it was quite popular at the assemblies.. the questionable lyrics were, "fear not those who kill the body, but cannot destroy the soul" it continues on with "to the end continue faithful, i will take you to your goal".. this was from the old songbook (remember, the purple one).

has the wt$ changed the lyrics to this song?

do they sing it anymore?
