  why do so many people hold out the hand and say "put what i need here,but i don't know what i need so can you do that to?".

  this pervasive miasma of gimme gimme is inexplicable to me .

  Its something I see in a lot of people all the time . It's mental laziness that people in general have that leads them to lean on others far to much for information and they just accept what is given and alot of people seem to feel that they are entitled to something without putting forth effort to obtain it as an individual

  Perhaps I shouldn't post half formed ideas lol

  People sometimes don't feel they should be responsible for the lies they believe and become bitter as if someone owes them something because they feel robbed or betrayed and that is the sense of entitlement I am thinking of

  Like I said polititions will NEVER solve anything niether will activists or lobbyists .I don't watch the news I don't care about the news The news is a concern for people that feel they can change other people with the volume of information in the head

  I use my >understanding < to improve the condition of the world around me ( you know the part I can actually have some impact on) concerning myself with things I have no control over is a waste

  The only truly benificial thing an ordinary person can do is not cause a need to arise.

  let me clarify to another person who has a personal axe to grind and reads themselves in everything (ahem)

  THIS POST IS NOT ABOUT POOR PEOPLE AND THE FACT THAT WE ALL PAY TAXES IT'S NOT ABOUT POLITICS OR ANYTHING TANGIBLE WHATSOEVER . IT'S ABOUT A STATE OF MIND NOTHING MORE . IF I HAVEN'T MADE MYSELF CLEAR YOU CAN PM ME ANYTIME FOR A MORE IN DEPTH DISCUSSION

  I guess my post was a bit vague as to intent. I was reflecting on personal encroachment in a more intelectual manner, not bemoaning the fact that others in the world can't get the basic needs to maintain a conection with body and soul

  My intenet was of a more philisophical nature as in " Why do people run around asking to be served predigested ideas"

  I guess I feel a little impatient with people that are not mentally vibrant and refuse to think for themselves.

  FYI I grew up poor as poor is my mother sat me on the bar to change my diaper in between serving beer.

  The suffering in life is a fact . If you wish to help, remove the need for help . Waving around information to raise "awareness" like it constitutes real action is ludicris.

  I don't contribute to suffering in anyway. If EVERYONE in the world did the same it would change reality. Until then any good that can be done must be done one person at a time. There are no quick and easy solutions being angry over an inevitibility is foolish and wasteful

  Suffering is caused by SELFISH desires .period . If you experience a selfish desire and act on it you are part of the problem. That is a truth

  So do you act on selfish desires?

  These undoubtably are immature individuals that have yet to learn that the only thing of value is that which "we "value not what others value but what we discover after effort.

  Why don't they teach that in school? Ooooh yeah the parents right .

  We all get what we deserve sooner or later, and when you look deep inside and ask yourself "what is me" you will discover what is deserved

  so many nut cases are JW's

  i have seen so many jw's that are fruit loops, i'm not meaning clinical depression or mental illness, many are just balmy, they seem to be off tap.

  i would estimate that 1 in 4 are off their head.

  disruptive behaviour and trouble makers, gossipers and out right rude, so many seem to have problems out of the normal, many i find are backward, maybe that is the one way street of indoctinization.. what experiences have any had..

  Only confused people are members of JWs, I don't mean regular folks that maybe trying to save others within the organization

  But the real died in the wool magizine hucksters. They are to be pitied not hated or ridiculed

  They need relief from the state of thier existence, the suffering they feel inside may be masked by deeds,service,prayer whatever , maybe they even feel a little truth

  It's like a starving man eating from a dumpster ,. the foods all covered in crap but it's food

  Instead of deriding a human in need why don't we spend that energy on bringing relief to a very real need in this world,

  People are asleep to what they are , we are wonderful beings made out of GOD not the miserable little creatures the world at large tells us we are.

  Commenting on an obvious problem without asking for a solution is just a self gratifying strokefest of the ego

  That is what caused the person to eat the dumpster fodder to begin with, ego strking of some kind or another caused a person to hold up the "truth" and say "this is it and there is no other"

  That kills an individuals needed search to understand because understanding has been given to them or forced on them

  Then a feeling of lack of fullfillment pervades the existence because the individuals own sense of what is real is quashed

  It very simply means that pursuing a line of thought originating in self for the agrandizment of self is a destructive action that leads to more people being "nut cases" so you see we are all part of the solution we are not outside of any others problem we are a part of it

  my heart says no let's all get along and love each other and show respect to the individual.. my mind says yes.

  unfortunately not everyone else agrees with the above.

  The key word is justified

  Anything that must be justified is a fabrication of the mind and merely adds to the suffering of all .It allows us to engage in what ever negative behavior we think we should like deception, self abuse , violence

  Acceptence is just what we allow to be, how you may FEEL about something is not accepting . How we feel is irrelevant to what is accepted

  Like we can accept the only way to understand and improve the world is to understand and improve oneown self or not

  The only thing we can have certainty in is knowledge of self, after that maybe we can actually make a difference

  Armageddon = Cancer ?

  here's some food for thought.... the center for science in the public interest tries to control everything we eat, thinking that everything causes cancer.

  there's always something new that causes cancer!.

  the witness try to control everything we do, thinking that everything is a sign that armageddon is near..... maybe there's some kind of parallel there.. what do you think?

  I believe all things are parallel . so maybe I'm the wrong one to answer. I believe the inner struggle of any human is reflected outwardly into the world as conflict

  Armageddon hmmmmmm

  I don't believe in the end of the world only the eventual end of suffering

  my year so farwonder if anyone else had as sucky of a 2007 as i did?

  aka for all of you worldly non witness folk who want to know how it is being with an ex jwhere you go, a little sample, unfiltered.. .

  january just got done taking the gf to see the familyfeeling good because the experience made us closer, finally sharing a piece of what i came from.

  I'm not really a pompous windbag who suffers from florid speech disorder. But when I speak like I think it comes out a little off.

  Since I have lived in florida for 12 years I really sound like "corn pone and fat back I reckon" when I'm in the world

  When I'm here I can simply let whats inside come out and play with the other insides that are playing .

  Wanna be fake go ahead thats ok ,

  Like I'v said before " don't value what you get, value what you give" or for you christian fundys out there
